Tried this place for the first time while visiting Nashville. The tacos were DELICIOUS. Definitely would go back again. I had three asada uptown style tacos and I was thoroughly impressed the guac was also a bit spicy but it made it so great and full of flavor! This place puts authentic tacos in my book to a whole new standard!

This is roundabout everything you would expect from an authentic Mexican Taco Truck. It is not restaurant quality to be honest it is good food truck quality, which is it’s own realm. They have a hard time with English & but it’s joined to a excellent Mexican Market, so I guess it makes sense they stay in Spanish speaking circles, but it was notably in the way when trying to order. The breakfast burrito I had was good but it stayed so close to normal burrito methods, it was a normal burrito plus eggs essentially. Good enough if you like a standard Mexican food truck vibe, but not so exciting or over the top good, that it’s worth a special trip, or going out of your way.

The first time I ordered it was awesome, ordered the second time and I really wish I hadn’t. 3 different burritos 2 asada and 1 birria. The ” meat ” was about 90% fat/gristle. Not much of any actual meat involved. Horrible. The rest of the ingredients in the burrito were good but biting into globs of fatty gristle ruined it.

Very delicious taco truck behind uptown market. Parking is interesting, best bet is to park in front of uptown market and go around. The food was good and didn’t take too long. One of the better carne asada plates in Nashville. The prices are solid, but beware accidentally overtipping because the screen options start at 25% tip.

The best in town, gotta be. Nashville has a lot of tacos -all over there is great “fusion” and “new age” tacos, but Uptown Grill is the real deal, south-of-the-border, dynamite Mexican food. It’s a food truck and it’s just great.

Truely amazingly good Mexican food. Best burrito ive had in years since leaving Mexico and California. The cabeza (essentially fatty beef cheeks) and the salsas are top notch. This is my new go to place for Mexican food in Nashville.
