They are very friendly and courteous at the window.
We are excited to try this drive thru place. The teriyaki and beef bowls are fresh, hot and there are many choices. We have returned because of the bowls are tasty. The al La cart secret menu shrimp tempura are really good according to my kid. The “red 40” sauce was strange according to my kid. We thought we try something else on the menu but have regrets. The chow mein not much to be desired there. It was chicken and chow mein and it lacked flavor.

A1 Grill left a lasting impression on me for several reasons. First, the spacious parking lot and excellent accessibility features make it convenient for everyone, including those with disabilities. And of course, the food is absolutely top-notch.
The staff are incredibly friendly—something that truly enhances the dining experience. One thing I personally love is the soup. Their miso soup has a unique flavor I haven’t found anywhere else. I was told the owner makes it from scratch—and it shows!
The menu offers a great variety of dishes, but what really stands out is the quality of the meat. This is not your typical low-grade barbecue—it’s premium quality. Even the sauces are carefully crafted by the owner to be healthy and flavorful—not too salty, just delicious.
The rolls are also impressive—larger than usual, with just the right amount of rice and packed with fresh, satisfying ingredients.
In short: great taste, high quality, generous portions, and outstanding value.

This place has some really good food. I got the special combination plate and first time I got it it came with a soup, really good soup. Worth the 20 minute drive thru lol. This second time I went I wanted the same thing. This time it didn’t come with a soup. I asked them why it wasn’t included and if it could come with something else. They refused service but charged me the same amount. Didn’t appreciate that at least a heads up would be nice before I ordered/paid. Overall okay restaurant.

Picked up take out with some coworkers and clients. Dine in was open but we decided to order to go. Clients liked chicken and beef dinners but the chow mein was just ‘okay’, not as authentic as I would have preferred. Crunchy roll was good. Would try another sushi roll if I went back.

I wanted to write a new review since I hadn’t been to this establishment in a long time, and they have definitely made a lot of changes. The menu has changed quite a bit! They do not have the one, two, or 3 item combos, including rice and noodles, any longer. They have various bowls now and seem to be leaning on a healthier side. I personally miss the noodles, but that is ok. I prefer fried rice over plain white rice, and you can order fried rice by itself. There is vegetable fried rice or fried rice with the meat of your choice. I ordered both the vegetable fried rice and the shrimp fried rice, and the flavor was outstanding! In fact, I have to say, it is the best fried rice I have ever had! I would go there often, just to order fried rice for a meal! For that, I added n extra star! I also ordered wonton soup, and it would be perfect if they toned down the ginger. I would recommend you give it a try, especially if you haven’t been in a long time.

I don’t know what is happening to this restaurant, but every time I come here now something is wrong with my food. This time that boyfriend went to pick up food, he pick up a salmon bowl for me, it had 2 small pieces of salmon and I received an extra piece. Those pieces were both hard and dehydrated, as if it was precooked and left sitting on the side to serve later like a fast food restaurant would. Not fresh at all. When he went to complain about the little pieces, the Asian lady said its because it’s expensive and they have to serve small pieces.
