Decent pizza, maybe a little overpriced but not that much. If you’re a cheese slice kind of person, try their spicy vodka, it’s mellow and more fun. I also had the olive pie which could have used more acid somehow.

Quick and easy slice of NYC pizza. Their Spicy Vodka slice might be the best in the city. Crust is on the heavier and drier side.

Grabbed a slice from this location as a snack. Location is pretty small (this is NYC), so you’ll likely be getting this to go and eat elsewhere.
Plenty of different types of pies to try, so you do have options for even a picky eater. Staff was pretty nice on a rainy Sunday when i stopped in.
The Sicilian Pepperoni was a bit spicy (to me); may have been due to all the other pizza I was eating. I’d go back to try some of their other pies to see what I might like.
If you’re in the area totally worth stopping in for a bite.

I went here on a whim looking for a quick slice of pizza. Turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. I tried the square pepperoni slice which was a thick square with crispy pepperoni on top. Along the edges of the slice were crispy cheese edges from the pan that melted in your mouth as you took a bite. The real star of the show was the spicy vodka pizza. Not only was your classic thin crispy New York slice executed perfectly but the sauce on top was out of this world. The sweetness of the sauce was enough to get you going and the spice was not too overpowering but just enough to give you that tang. The dough was super thin, not floppy, and a crispy but chewy crust. I would eat this pizza everyday if I could. Did I mention it only took them around 15 minutes for them to make a whole pie. Upside pizza was the most pleasant surprise of my evening and I would honestly choose this place over any sit down restaurant.

I work across the street, and have been coming to upside pizza for a long time. It’s a true New York slice, thin, crispy and tasty. Their pepperoni Sicilian is amazing, but the belle of the ball to me is mushroom slice. The mushroom slice is thin, with a good ratio of different cheeses, sauce and crust. They place a few small tables on the sidewalk, for patrons to dine at. Upside is good spot for the tourists, locals and the people that work in the city

I love NYC because I stumbled in here at 3am and had some of the best cheese pizza slices ever. Got 2 cheese, 1 pepperoni and 1 square sicilian.
They were all delicious! Great crust, undercarriage and the sauce had nice flavor. Would definitely come back in the future!
