All around, pretty good food. I was not a fan of the cornbread. It was stuck to the paper and crumbled a lot. The wings and mac were good. The kids tenders were slighty dry. The cabbage was a little spicy but good. The service was good. If im being honest it was a little on the pricey side but I did want to give the restaurant a fair chance. I would return again to try something else.

Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff went above and beyond not just to serve food, but to make sure every guest felt seen, comfortable, and valued. You can truly tell this is a place where people care deeply about what they do and the people they serve. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! For me, it matters where my money goes and I’m glad that it went to this establishment.

They desperately need to improve the quality of the food served. I patronized this restaurant twice and received turkey wings that were undercooked and day(s) old pasta that was reheated given to me. They are skimpy with their vegetables. For example, I received more pot liquor than greens on one of my dinner orders.
The service is slow. Each time it took almost an hour to get my order. On one
occasion, I called ahead, stopped to get gas, and and still waited 45 minutes once getting to the restaurant before getting my food.
The menu prices are not cheap and I would expect better from this establishment.
I wish them well in the future.

That soul food menu literally had my mouth watering. Had to try it for myself, and they did not disappoint. Some of the best soul food I’ve had since Greens & Gravy in Atlanta. I spoke to the owners while waiting and they seemed like good people. The type that you want to see win. 10/10 for the overall experience.

To the restaurant owner, please update your menu with items that you actually have. I placed an order to only have the Uber driver get there and the food was not ready and half the items were not available any longer. Not that they ran out, but some items weren’t menu items anymore. How would I have known? I am sorry to the driver for his time being lost also disappointed the outcome was I didn’t get my order. I had high hopes but this is typical of black establishments who have lack in service. I had high hopes. I am from out of town and wanted so badly to not stereotype your establishment. Especially after reading the reviews. To end up getting the results I expected. We have got to do better.

Man! From the owner to the servers they are all very down to earth and welcoming! I had the Big Back Koney burger and I haven’t had an flavorful burger in the area that good in such a long time! Oh and there fries and home made sauces are on point! The cook did his thing! I’ll be back for the “Big Back” tomorrow!!
