I’m sad to say we’ve purchased from here multiple times (I’m guessing at least 15 pizzas) with issues almost every time. I even ordered like 8 or 9 pizzas for my daughters birthday party awhile ago when first opened. I have mentioned the issues via Facebook messenger. For the price tag and the claims of being voted best I just don’t understand. I do recommend their fried appetizers. They’re always delicious and hot. The bar area/ front counter inside looks very nice as well. The main issues are soggy wet pizza from perhaps using canned tomatoes (that’s just a guess to be fair I have no idea) this happened twice on our veggie pizza which actually made the pizza box soggy and mush (the ingredients literally slid right off the crust lol), forgetting sauces while delivering, burnt tasting GALRIC bread, the top of the garlic cheese pizza had burnt cheese which made it taste off, messed up orders that required us to wait an extremely long time to be corrected, etc. I sent out a very kind and detailed list of things we’ve experienced and I included 3 pictures. I didn’t even get a response. I wasn’t asking for refunds and don’t want any credits. I made it clear we love to support small businesses and understand things happen. I’m just sad because Casey’s pizza tastes like cardboard so I was hoping Grundy Center would have a saving grace with Chads haha. Again, the price is pretty hefty so it would be nice to actually be able to enjoy it.

After a terrible experience when Chad’s first opened, probably 7 or 8 years ago on suggestion from a friend that I should try them again I decided to give them a second chance and I was delighted I did. My meal was great, my server was great and I even spoke to the manager and it was a positive experience all around.

My husband and I are diehard Chad’s Crab Rangoon pizza fans. We live a town over and are so thankful they deliver to us. We used to religiously go to Fongs for their crab Rangoon but Chad’s is soooo much better! No competition!! Like so good I am eating it in the parking lot before I go home and share it.

We visited Chad’s Pizza on Sunday, Dec 17th for outr family Christmas gathering after a fun late afternoon bowling party! We filed in to the restaurant to order multiple pizzas of varying kinds! There was 22 of us and the service could not have been better! They were able to get all the pizzas out essentially together and they were all delicious! We will definitely be back! Please support this great small business…you won’t regret it! It was soooo good and the service was amazing!

Can’t say I support this business anymore. Some snobby lady (Katie??) definitely made me not want to ever come back. Went there and the server was awesome but the cook/manager whatever lady messed up our pizza we then waited over 45 minutes for a replacement. We were in that restaurant for OVER 1.5 hours and didn’t even get garlic cheese bread until about a half hour after we ordered, because the lady was out for delivery and apparently is the only one that can cook??? There were a TON of other patrons that came after us and had their food before us. I can’t help but think this was deliberate because we were given the wrong pizza and didn’t just accept it. While in the end we were comped that pizza. She initially said “you’ll get a discount” and then proceeded to not discount anything.

I’ve dined in and taken out and haven’t been disappointed yet. Both pizza and broasted chicken have been great. One weekday I brought my parents to the buffet and Katie went out of her way to make sure my father had extra chicken wings available to eat as this is his favorite. My parents were very pleased with the buffet experience! So nice having this place as a restaurant option in town!

I’ve ordered 2 pizza from Chad’s Pizza. The first one was delicious!!! I bragged to my hubby that I finally found a great pizza place near by. Then, sadly, they changed their ingredients. I ate 2 pieces of the pizza and it felt like a brick in my stomach. Unless they change back, I will order from Casey’s for the same type of pizza for a cheaper price. We love their pizza. The crust is good and crispy. Just the right amount of sauce. I love the way they chop the ingredients ( not chunky )and they put a lot of ingredients on it. We really like the place, we’re really happy they finally came to Grundy. We also tell our friends about it.

Got the pulled pork pizza, the sauce was very sweet and could only eat a piece before I was finished. Our waitress also left our drinks empty the entirety of the time we were there until our food arrived and I asked for it to be refilled. Wasn’t a pleasant experience for us, however I did not have their standard pizza and I’m sure that would have been better experience.
