The handrolls were actually delicious (still – kazunori is better for me)

Handrolls delicious in terms of both the fish and the rice. We tried the set of 4 – each one had a distinct seasoning and all very pleasant, our favorites being definitely the salmon and the prawn ones. Also enjoyed the hot fish bone soup – very soothing.

These are not your typical hand rolls. All the fish they use is dry-aged fish. There is that special umami flavor to it that you can’t get in most other hand rolls at other places.

I was so excited to try these rolls but unfortunately they only allow you to order from their preset menu, even if you have a sensitivity to the fish options. My friend can not eat tuna, and really wanted to eat here but they refused to swap the tuna for salmon. They offer a la carte rolls but refuse to sell them (even though 3 of those would have been the same price as the preset options). It’s unfortunate that they would choose to preserve the “experience of a tasting” over accommodating customers. But maybe that speaks to why they were the only restaurant in the market with no customers or line.

Excellent hand rolls but to get them, you have to sit at the bar– and the bar gets busy. There’s a few seats but then you can only get the bento box.

The best handroll place in Culver City! Literally uncompilable to these other places I’ve tried. Highly recommend if you’re digging authentic Japanese handrolls. Owner is so nice and welcoming along with the service provided. Franco (the name of my server) assisted me in all my needs. Although I came on his second week working, he was well aquatinted with the menu and recommendations. I’ll be coming back!

Incredibly fresh and clean fish! A complete surprise since it’s a low key spot. Rolls are a good size and the seaweed paper snaps on every bite. I’ll be back!!

Absolutely incredible. Dry aged sushi is going to be incredibly popular in a few years because of them!

Worst service ever! For the same price they could not give a salmon roll only, told me I would have to pay extra. Save your money and try the other places in the Market
