Authentic Japanese food at a great price. The chicken katsu is very clean and not greasy. Chicken and egg bowl is another of my favorites. The octopus balls are phenomenal and again very light and not greasy. Haven’t had the ramen here yet but my friends are impressed with it. He is a professionally trained chef who is a picky eater and keeps coming back. I have no complaints here. Service is top notch and very quick.

Decided to drop in on a whim today and hoped it was open for dine-in. Thankfully it was, which I’m so glad about because it was a phenomenal dinner. The sushi is among the best in the area. The flavor of the sushi is excellent, there is actually a great balance between rice and fish, and it is not doused in sauce which is my pet peeve to see at other restaurants in the area. This seems much more authentic and with a great care for ingredients and presentation. The udon noodles were freshly cooked to order and packed so much flavor that my mouth was watering to just smell it. Save room for dessert and try the tempura Oreos! I can’t wait to return and try more dishes.

Easily the best Japanese restaurant in Prescott. Very authentic to the food I ate in Japan. The curry was the first I’ve had in the states that actually tasted like Japan. This place is the real deal!

I was really excited to try it. I love sushi, had good reviews, but I did notice the reviews were mostly about the other dishes and not the sushi. I had two hand rolls, and they had too much rice and very little sushi. I don’t mind paying 8 dollars for a hand roll but I was mostly paying that much for the rice. Very disappointing, i also ordered the dynamite roll to go and it was a huge disappointment. The roll has overbaked fish, and very salty. Please hire a new sushi chef and maybe I’ll try it again.

First time trying this place out, and wow … I’d consider this place a hidden gem. It wasn’t busy at all when we got there; we grabbed a couple of menus and sat ourselves. I got an avocado & salmon roll, and a chicken/egg rice bowl … while the food took a little to come to the table, it was DELICIOUS. I felt like I was in Japan at someone’s house having a meal cooked for me, I loved it! I will most definitely be returning here, bravo

I just ate here with my wife and we were super impressed with the everything that we ordered. I got the the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was the best I’ve had in Prescott. I also tried the seaweed salad and it was great, too. The owners were very nice and actually from Japan. Prices were reasonable, too.

What a delight!!! When food, atmosphere, and service all rate five stars you’ve found a real winner! My husband and I share the plates so we got to taste a nice variety. As appetizers, I had the seaweed salad and he had the Gyoza pork – both wonderful. He had the Pork Katsu Curry which was really tasty. I had several pieces of sashimi with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi paste. It was very delicate and delicious. The restaurant is very lovely inside, making you feel as though you are in Japan. Most of all, the attention and friendliness of the people who served us was really special. They made us feel at home and so comfortable. This is one to put on your to-do list for sure! We will be back.

Newly opened under new ownership (the owners are Japanese, and the food is very authentic). Excellent food all the way around – sushi, Ramen, udon. The quality and freshness of the fish was outstanding. Definitely worth checking out, and worth supporting to have great sushi in Prescott!
