This is the third time I’ve tried to give this place a chance but I’ll never do it again. I paid $20 for a small quesadilla, a child’s portion of rice and beans (suppose to be regular size) and an order of the churros. The quesadilla was good. The rice & beans were mid and the churros just tasted like bland funnel cake. What upset me the most was the rice and beans. Rice and beans are so cheap but that small of a portion for $4?? Was planning on sharing this with my 2 year old but I ended up going hungry because the $20 food wasn’t enough.

Placed an order online for four tacos and two lemonades. Nothing special about the tacos. Just basic ground beef tacos …Almost $25.
The picture on the website shows chips and salsa with the tacos, so you believe that’s what you’re getting only to pick up your food and be told that the chips and salsa aren’t included. When I showed them a picture from their own website of the two tacos with chips and salsa, they shrug their shoulders and say don’t know what to tell you. So then I have to pay $5.50 more for chips and salsa. That’s $30 for four tacos, two lemonades and some chips and salsa. Also, the girl at the drive-thru window forgot to give me my two lemonades until I reminded her.

I believe that’s overpriced for what you get, and showing something on your website that’s actually not included feels deceptive, even if not intentional. I would encourage the owner to remove the chips and salsa from the picture or clearly state that the chips and salsa is not included with the tacos.

I probably won’t be back, which is unfortunate because I like supporting small local businesses.

So I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and was finally able to get over there… after 2 hours on the interstate I pull in on the way home and something told me to order (2) different types of tacos (since only (2) come to an order). I see that they’re almost $9 per order so I’m thinking they’ll be sufficient and I opt for no sides. The young lady at the window was polite and prompt. Once I get my order, my inner happy fat kid comes out and I get home only to be let down by what I see.. I threw an ink pen in the photo for a size reference. Whoever owns this place must have fell and hit their head because Taco Bell tacos are bigger than these things. $6 per order of 2 I can see but not what they charged. Needless to say I won’t be going back and I will be very vocal to my circle in discouraging them to not waste their money there as well!

So far the best tacos in St Tammany parish. And it’s not even close. The prices on these tacos are comparable to all the restaurants in the area. I might be able to get a slightly bigger taco up the road but it’s going to taste like junk. Nothing but the freshest ingredients have always been on my tacos here, well worth the price for the quality.

Not sure what you get for 6.95 tacos.. you get charged for whatever meat you choose etc.. we ordered 6 tacos and 3 drinks.. nothing else.. the bill was over $40. I was in shock. We were excited to try the place but will not be back. Average food and extremely overpriced!

We have been here 3 times and honestly it is really good! I think the portions are good not too little or too much and the flavor is great….. plus they have a drive thru.

My husband and I finally tried this place, and while there’s nothing “wrong” it’s definitely just a small step above Taco Bell. I found it to be overpriced for what it is, and while the food is fine, it’s not exceptionally delicious and tasty. The cheese dip was thick and not queso blanco, more like Velveeta, and the chips were unsalted. I also couldn’t get any “toppings” added into my Quesadilla. It’s definitely not worth 40$ for two entrees. If I wanted to spend that much I’d go to a table service restaurant. However, as I mentioned the food is perfectly fine; if you’re looking for a quick mexican-ish meal and in a hurry, this is a convenient stop on your way to the interstate. The restaurant was clean and well lit, the staff was cordial, and the food was made quickly. If you have stopped going to Izzos Illegal Burrito on Hwy 21 because of the frightening condition of that place, this is something sort of comparable that you could try, although they don’t have the charred corn so many people love. My husband was just excited to have a burrito bowl so I’m sure we will return.

me and my sisters stopped here on our 16 hr trip back home and the owner tommy was so amazing to us! you have to try this place. The steak and cheese quesadilla is top tier, the nachos are delicious, and the steak tacos are so fresh. Food came out quick and super hot!

Definitely will be back again. The seasoned ground beef was good but comparable to taco bell. Salsa will be avoided in the future. Tomatillo sauce was a good alternative to their salsa with a nice flavor and slightly spicy. Queso was good. Chips and salsa are not included with every dish. I had two ground beef tacos with plenty of fixings on soft (corn and flour mix) tortillas. My wife had the taco salad which looked fabulous and the shell was perfectly crispy. Rice and beans were good. If choosing a meal in the future I will pick rice and beans or chips and queso (not salsa).
