Saw this place looking up restaurants near my work and thought to give it a try. I’m always down for trying to experience new cultures through food. My last time trying jerk chicken at a DIFFERENT restaurant, the chicken was dry and bland. This time, however, I believe I finally tasted authentic jerk chicken.

Saw this place passing by. I called to make an inquiry, the woman that answered the phone was very pleasant over the phone. Decided to give them a try. Very good. I got curry goat. The veggies were good, rice n peas perfect, and let’s not forget the plantain. It’s hard to find an authentic Caribbean restaurant on Long Island and the price is reasonable. I will be back.

Delicious stew chicken. My son enjoyed the food too and he’s a picky eater. Will definitely be back. So happy there is a new restaurant in the area that is different. Was waiting for a Caribbean restaurant to open up. I’m sick of pizza and halal on every corner.

The service and staff at this restaurant is exceptional to say the least. I hosted a birthday party here with a party of 16, and they were very accommodating, food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was friendly. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots. I can’t wait to see more of the new renovations done. Thank you again to their kind and professional staff.

Was so excited to try this place! I called and placed an order for a medium oxtail no vegetables with white rice. I go to pick it up my order. The lady that Was at the front was very rude and unpleasant. When I said I was here to pick up my order she said you ordered oxtail and then changed and said no a large jerk chicken. I corrected her and said no you had it right I ordered a medium oxtail white rice no vegetables with plantins. she continued to tell me with a nasty attitude pointing her finger that I ordered a large jerk chicken. I said ma’am my husband does not eat jerk chicken I would have not ordered that for him. After going back and fourth she just turned around and walked in the back. She left me standing there and I walked out without my order. My biggest issues with this is just her assuming she was correct. Instead of saying let me see if this was someone elses order or it could of just been a mistake which is ok. I would have waited she decided being nasty and going back and forth with a first time customer was a good idea. So sad that it’s a new restaurant and that was my first experience there. So sad because me and my family love Jamaican food and would love to give business to them all the time but after that no thank you! I would not Recommend this place due to the unprofessional staff.
