Came here with high expectations and they were exceeded. The fish was all incredibly fresh and the flavors they were prepared with were so delicious. Nothing was overpowering and the sushi chefs and staff were so kind and informative. Will definitely come back when we get the chance and highly recommend. The portions were also so good for the price! If you love Japanese food and are looking to explore more of that, this is the best place.

I had a great Omakasa experience at Unique, a small, intimate, family owned and operated Japanese restaurant offering a great, affordable, $85 15 course Omakasa Experience.

Excellent Service, Great quality, and a great deal! Celebrate the anniversary here, and they gave us a cute dish as a gift! There are a lot of unique dishes you will never be able to find in other places.

Fairly priced omakase for the price. They rotate their menu every week. You get fresh and creative pieces. The service was great. You also get hot tea with your meal. Would recommend them! Would try them over Sushi by M.

This place is amazing! Yes $85 is a lot but the place is byob so if u think about it you save a ton being able to bring a bottle of wine vs being somewhere where it is $15/ drink. Also, I left full and satisfied. The sushi came with literal gold flakes! One came with truffle. Magical experience. Even tho it is byob the woman put my wine on ice and made sure that my cup was full. The fish was so good that I ate it without soy sauce. Save your coins and try it!

We chose to do the Unique Omakase and has an amazing time! The food was incredible and extremely fresh. I loved every single bite and thought the use of creative ingredients did not ruin the taste of the fish. They change their menu seasonally so I can’t wait to come back and try their new menu. Delicious.

Wow. I don’t want to review too high because I don’t want everyone to know about this place but they deserve every star and more. Amazing fresh sushi and excellent service. Chefs sing and Ken are masters at their craft! This is going to be a regular spot for me

Don’t come here expecting a luxe dining experience, come here for high quality sushi. While the decor leaves something to be desired, my partner and I enjoyed this no-frills omakase – at 15 courses for $85, Unique is affordable but surprisingly not the cheapest in the neighborhood (Sushi Kai offers a 14-course for $75, SHINN EAST 13 for $65, etc.). Out of the myriad 60-min omakases, we found that Unique brought the most value, with healthy portions of high quality fish and special toppings. They really don’t skimp, and we’re here for it.
