Awesome pre-lunar new year dinner. All of the food was excellent, especially their sezchuan food like the dry pepper with chicken!
The soup dumplings were spot on.

I liked the food overall, though it was on the salty side. The beef noodle soup was the best part. It was a good balance of the light broth, the chewy noodle, and the beef that was well-flavored with a hint of sweetness. I also really liked the beef pancake, the chewy yet crispy pancake works great with the beef and sauce. The seafood soup had high-quality ingredients but it could have been saltier. The blue crab and Spanish dumplings were a typo, they had spinach which is unique. I couldn’t taste crab, just shrimp. I really liked the “crispy purple yam with sesame”. It was a pancake that resembled a flattened sesame balls, but more subtle. The stir-fried cabbage was surprisingly good, they used a different type of cabbage that was more crispy and sweet than I expected.
The atmosphere could use some improvement. The tables were a little dirty, and there was a draft coming from the door. But I didn’t mind the hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant vibes, especially with all the authentic dishes. I’d like to come again sometime.

The food was fresh! We are very pleased with the quality of the food. We will definitely be back for the crab Rangoon’s, pork fried rice, pork egg rolls, eggplant with garlic sauce, sweet & sour chicken! I’ll also want to try new dishes! This place will now be my go to Chinese food! I do NOT feel guilty about the money I spent. Money well spent! Yummy yummy! Thank you!

We had a great time at Unique last night for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was really nice getting authentic Szechuan food in the suburbs! When I’m needing a chili oil fix, I will definitely be back. My kids liked the Americanized Chinese food as well.

My fiance and I ordered take out from here for Thanksgiving. I had very mixed feelings about the food.
The wonton soup, egg drop soup, beef chow fun, and Singapore noodles all had to be recooked with seasonings at home due to how bland they were. Each dish tasted as though the only seasoning they used was sesame seed oil, and they used enough to compensate for the lack of any other flavor.
However, some of the other dishes were actually great. The pork and crab soup dumplings were honestly amazing. I was sad when I finished the last one. The sweet and sour chicken was pretty good. I also loved the egg custard buns with pig or chicken faces and the “sweet filling fried dumplings”.

They just opened today! The menu has traditional Szechuan dishes and dim sum in addition to the standard Chinese dishes you’d see at an American Chinese restaurant.
We got the spring rolls, chicken dumplings, general Tso’s lunch special with fried rice and an order of pork fried rice. Everything was really good! Very happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Brace yourself Hatboro! Once this restaurant is “discovered” it’s going to be tough to get in. I have to say best Chinese Szechuan food I’ve ever had. I ordered very basic but next time going all in! Cucumber salad perfect amount of spice, shrimp dumplings, melt in the mouth and so tender, and crab Rangoon, actual crab not a paste and freshly made. There’s five tables and the gentleman who helped me with my take out order was so nice. I wish them well and I really hope they become part of Hatboro’s evolving restaurant scene. This used to be a long standing Mexican restaurant, it’s on Moreland Ave.

Sadly I need to do an update. Don’t get me wrong, some of the food is really good but the wonton soup did not have any flavor this time and the last time I tried it. The sticky rice in lotus leaf also didn’t have much flavor from the first time I tried it. The egg roll was very greasy this time also. BUT the pan fried dumplings are still delicious!! I asked if all condiments were in the bag when I picked up and was told yes. However the only thing I got was a couple of duck sauce. I didn’t get dumpling sauce, and I usually get something with the rice but nothing this time.
(First review) I tried some different dim sum’s and everything was amazing. The handmade pan fried dumplings are probably the best I’ve ever had! The wonton soup is so good, the wontons are made with the thinner dough and the flavor of them is really tasty. The roasted pork buns are really amazing, the dough is like a cloud and the flavor of the pork is really good. I really enjoyed the soup dumplings, egg roll, crystal shrimp, and rice wrapped in lotus leaf too! The gentleman who took my order was very kind and helpful. I’m so excited we have a really good, more authentic Chinese restaurant so close! They have American Chinese too. Yum!!

Terrible service. Ate here once before and they were not busy. Had to wait a few minutes for my food. This time, ordered online. Said it would be done by 7:49. Arrived at 7:50. Waited at the counter till 8:15. Guy came out 3 times to put soup on a table. Never acknowledged me even when I said excuse me. Just left without my food. Luckily I didn’t pay for it. Real shame cause it was good the one time I had it.

One of the best tasting Chinese restaurants in the area. The noodles are amazing, and the beef is the soup is very tender and well seasoned. Prices are also very good.
