Food was great. Server was really great (Amber). Best thing about this place is the daily $9.99 specials. As we all know, going out to eat is getting pretty pricey these days. It’s nice to see a place keeping it affordable. We had the Monday night All-You-Can-Eat broasted chicken. It was perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. The waitress made me a fun non-alcoholic drink, with tea and huckleberry.
They have a Christmas promotion, where you receive an envelope, and bring it in later, unopened, for a surprise gift (like dollars-off or free drink) on a future visit.
Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. You can also join the club to receive text messages of additional specials. I joined it.

Awesome food and service. Awesome to have a resturant so close to the lake. Great to have a good kids menu. Old Fashioned were great. The perch was awesome and will have again. I look forward going again.

We recently had rented the upstairs hall for a graduation party. The hall is beautiful and the customer service we had was excellent!
We were, however, under the assumption we also had the full outdoor patio available , but turns out once we arrived there was only a couple of tables available for us to use, and outside guests were still being seated at the patios where they had to cross through our party to get out to the patio. They did their best, however, to accommodate us in regards to this matter.
It was also very, very warm inside the hall, as if there was no air conditioning whatsoever running. This is the only reason why I’m giving this four stars instead of the full five.
If need be, I would indeed consider Uncle Larry’s again for an event.

Maybe we visited on an off day, because I’d been there before and it was fine, but the food and the service was lacking this time. First, we ordered two appetizers, and when they came out one was correct and the other was not ours. We sent it back with the correction and got sort of an odd look. Then the correct one was brought out and our food shortly after. We all had a variety of fish dinner, and one person’s was not prepared as listed on the menu. She was also missing a side (cole slaw) and when we asked for it, we got another strange look. When we were asked how the meal was we weren’t overly enthusiastic but said it was ok. Not much flavor. Lastly, we decided to split a dessert and when it came out it was either stale or defrosted/freezer burnt and smothered in Hershey type syrup and cool whip. We tried a couple of bites and it didn’t taste right and sent it back, asking if we could have it taken off of the bill. At this our waitress rolled her eyes and left. I’m sorry, but dropping $100 for a small group to go out to eat — it should be pretty decent food. We understood that it was not the fault of the waitress (mostly) but after the attitude and lack of hospitality has led to this decision to leave a review. Sadly, we probably won’t be back.

I never heard of this place until someone mentioned it on a group Facebook site and we like to check out any restaurant with good recommendations. So my man and I drove 35 minutes to get there. A beautiful sunny December drive, past Holy Hill. We went on a Sunday, when burgers were half off. It was busy but not loud at all, which is helpful when you get headaches ftom too loud of places. Def only one 6 Oz patty is needed imo, as you fries with it too. Had the cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and bacon and my man had the bacon jam burger. The smash burgers were very very good, however the fried pickles were absolutely HEAVENLY – Best fried pickles we’ve ever had!!! We sat at the bar in the most comfortable bar stools we ever sat on. Our bartender/server was super friendly and helpful…. she made the best bloody Mary, and was patient with my high maintenance request and questions for drinks. Beer was VERY COLD which is important to me as I can’t stand even semi warm beer. Glasses and plates were clean and decent. Athough busy, we were well taken care of. A very charming restaurant, not too loud either. And the ladies bathroom in the lower level was really clean and cute, which IS important and says a lot about the love and pride the owners and staff have! Highly recommend

The bacon jam burger was blah but the ribs and chicken was delicious! Only issue with the chicken was that we got a breast and wing…wing was super tiny, no meat on it. So it was like a 1 piece chicken dinner with 1/2 rack of ribs for $22

What a fun first time at this restaurant. Service from Jim was great. The staff is very efficient and worked the crowd like pros. We arrived and were seated immediately. Shortly after, there were 3 parties of 8 seated. Awesome job taking care of all of those Saturday night diners by the staff. We had Reuben rolls, the Cajun shrimp and rice bowl, a February special, and the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. Yum! We will definitely be back to dine again. Oh, if you have to wait to be seated, there is a fun lower level bar area and in warm weather an outside deck area.

We just went to Uncle Larry’s for the first time for fish! Wow we were impressed!!! I’ve eaten at many different restaurants in many different countries and have never had service like this. From the guys directing us where to park (you were the best!), to the man who escorted us to our table downstairs (I think he thought i might fall 🙂 ) to the amazing servers. You were all incredible and we appreciated all your hardwork. As for the food and drinks….amazing!
