1st time trying and specifically came for the Curry week curry option and Boy oh Boy that was a Real Treat! A nice brown sugar mustard flavor sweetness but not overpowered and a touch of spice after with the goey curry sauced Rice.
Amazing!
Definitely going back to try the BBQ.

This is a ” must visit” of the Portland food trucks! Small in size, but big on flavors!! Everything that we tried was over the top. This place came recommended by a follower and so easily earned #Nofeardining !! All of our sides were a suprise in flavors. The burnt ends beans was a mouth full of everything I liked, smokey sweet and the chunks of burnt ends. W
Finished every bite!!! YOU WILL TOO!!

First time here. Came for the Curry Week special. When I arrived, I was the only one there yet the guy was on his phone texting or something and I had to wait quite a while before he took my order. When I placed my order, card reader didn’t work despite several attempts. I was told to come back in 10 min to try again while he made my order. Came back and still didn’t work (found out later it may have been an issue with my card), so I just paid in cash + tip. The food portion was smaller than I thought it’d be. The chicken was ok. You can definitely taste the smokiness but I don’t sense much of the curry. The rice seemed a bit soggy too for my liking and chicken was a bit too.

It was my first time ordering from them .I had the pork ribs , beans , mac and cheese and corn muffin. The ribs and the beans had a lot of flavor which i like. The mac and cheese was okay. And the muffin was fine. Overall everything was good and i enjoyed it. I would go back and recommend them.

I would like to start by saying that I have an extremely picky husband who loves barbecue. That being said, we tried this hoping it would be good because it’s really close to our house, and it turned out to be amazing. I would have to say the chicken wings are not what you expect from chicken wings. They’re very large, not fatty, a lot of meat, perfectly cooked, and I usually don’t eat chicken wings from many places, so when I ordered them I was going out on a limb here. I will definitely be ordering chicken wings again. The slap yo Auntie Mac and cheese is probably the best mac and cheese I’ve had from a barbecue place around Portland. The brisket couldn’t be anymore tender. The beans are average barbecue beans, but they did have a nice extra kick to them that made them a little stand out. Proportions and cost probably was my favorite part about the whole order beyond just amazing food. The seasoning on everything that we ordered was perfect.
We both ordered the 3 meat combo. My husband ordered the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and the BO’s burnt end beans. I ordered the brisket, ribs, chicken wings, and the slap yo Auntie Mac and cheese.

Not only is the food here absolutely amazing, the owner, Earl, is an absolute wonderful man who is so friendly and I think it makes his food better. He cooks with his soul, and wants to make everyone’s day better with his demeanor. His mac n cheese is the best!

Possibly the best BBQ meat we’ve ever had.
I got 3 meat platters and my wife got the puller pork.
All of the meat was incredibly juicy, tender and cooked and seasoned to perfection. Usually when I go to a BBQ joint there’s always something that’s dry, but this was not the case. Everything was next level!

Okay this is a little late seeing as I went in on national BBQ day but this visit and this review have been a long time coming, first of all the half platter is so much food, I can’t even imagine how much food the large platter could hold. The brisket is DELICIOUS, fall apart all over so good, the chicken is so flavorful you will not want to share lol the mac and cheese was great, the brisket burnt end beans is exactly as described and it is the best baked beans I’ve ever had, the cornbread muffins could have been a tad bit better with a little more moisture retention however the flavor and quantity definitely made up for anything. The entire platter was well worth $45 for half a bird, all that brisket, THREEE HUGE sides and SIX cornbread muffins was well beyond worth it, this platter filled up six hard working farmers and became the talk of the day not to mention it is all made with love from earl himself if you need that quality bar b que I would strongly recommend uncle earls!
Lastly, do not sleep on the banana pudding. There are no words to describe that dessert.

Sitting here, stuffing my face with the best pulled pork, greens, and gumbo on the West Coast. Follow it with one of his homemade corn muffins and a beer from inside. Perfect lunch!

I just went here today and the guy cooking was incredible! So nice and personable. The food was some of the best food I have had in a long time. It was not skimpy. All the meat had so much flavor and it was so tender and delicious. The potato salad was literally the best I’ve ever had and I love potato salad. My husband had the burger and it was unbelievably good. The Mac and cheese was to die for. Over all 5 stars was not enough. Highly recommend and I will be back!!!!
