Food was great and the happy hour specials were an unexpected bonus for a Friday night. Service was fast! Apps came back in a flash. Had the shrimp Taco w/sweet potato tots, Black & Bleu burger + cheese curds. They have the classic fresh breaded style of cheese curds and not the “squares” over-processed types.

Food is average, not that great. My steak was cooked nicely but the French onion soup was like eating spoonfuls of gravy and not soup, and the Mac and cheese bites are just Kraft Mac and cheese. I will say the ummies burger and fries were very good though. Service was kind of slow.

Fantastic sports bar as advertised. Burgers were juicy and impressive, the sauces served were unique and tasty. I got the Ummie’s Burger, Mac & Cheese bites, and my friend got the Texas burger. Great service, very friendly. Possibly the best burgers in Mankato, to be honest.

Someone told me, as a wing connoisseur, to check out Ummie’s. I had a pound of traditional medium wings and a beer. They were great! Better than most places. And they were huge! And saucy and crispy. They had a lingering heat that lasted all the way home. Not bad, actually quite pleasant. I will go back, just not on a hockey game night. 🙂 The staff was very friendly and prompt as well!

Definitely a place to check out if you want good bar food. Great selection of beer and liquor. I order the boneless wings with the spicy Buffalo which is a dry rub. It is salty and a bit spicy style rub. The burger was your standard burger but definitely had a good taste. If you are in the area and want a drink a good food definitely recommend this place.

Ummies Bar & Grill has some great food. I had a black and blue burger with their in house potato chips it was very good and very well done. I also had a side of wings (traditional) a great meal. They are on the more expensive side for me which is around $11 – $13 a burger but their worth it and filling. You won’t be leaving hungry here.
