Ordered through door dash. The sushi Was so delicious! And came in cute little boxes. I got the 911 and crunchy shrimp. Loved the Thai tea! The cheesecake was tiny but delicious!

I like simple handrolls, definitely a good spot to get them fast. I did come here after they opened in the afternoon so not many people. Everything seemed great to me. Only recommend thing I would do is ask for less cucumbers in the rolls but thats my preference.

What can I say, everything was great. We had 3 tables for a total of 13 people. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was quick, we had drinks swiftly and food within 30 minutes. The menu is really big for a sushi restaurant so even the members on our party with diet restrictions or who didn’t like sushi had good options. The check after tip was under $600 which we found very reasonable for all the drinks everyone had and the quantity of food we ordered. Everyone was stuffed and we ordered too much food. What I liked most was the acoustics. You could hear everyone at your table very easily and it didn’t feel loud at all. Pretty surprising because the place was very busy. Umi is a great place to eat.

This place is absolutely delicious! We had sushi, miso soup, and veggie tempura. We highly recommend the Crispy Crunch roll. we went here early in the week and our daughter asked to go back to this place for her birthday since we all loved it so much. the restaurant was clean and the decor was cool- very nice sushi restaurant! All ingredients were fresh and filling.

Came here on a Sunday so it was nice and slow. My dad and I really like Japanese food so I would say this is up to par. We got a simi sushi roll, gyoza, vegetable fried rolls, and vege+chicken yakisoba. It was all good, I feel though the sushi was not the same as it was on menu like the picture did not match the real thing. Which is okay! Just caught it as interesting. The staff were super nice and attentive. And at the end we got some plum wine and a chocolate mochi dessert and against what my dad thought the mochi would taste like he really liked it surprisingly and so did i. It was a very light and refreshing dessert. All and all definitely a nice little Japanese restaurant.

Absolutely delicious dishes, from the rolls to katsu. The service was professional, kind, quick, and provided my mother free ice cream for her birthday. The restaurant itself is open and inviting. We would definitely come back here and make this a regular spot.

Our first time trying out Umi Sushi. Good menu selection, nice presentation. Dishes clean, undamaged, no water spots. Tables clean. Sashimi was fresh, cuts were smallish to medium in size. Rolls smallish to medium in size. Rice was OK. Beer was cold. Hot sake could be hotter, but it was still good. Service was good. Pricing reasonable. Little to no wait time at dinner service.
Overall a pleasant experience, highly recommend if you are in the area and you have a hankering for sushi. Would dine again.

Best sushi that I’ve had in San Diego since I moved back from Japan. Fresh and excellent flavor in every dish, roll, and plate. The Sapporo on draft was so flavorful as well. I might return here to a spot right in my neighborhood before I travel to Convoy for my high grade sushi next time.
