We love this place! It was recommended by friends and it’s great! Our favourite is umami burrito, you can add extra salmon or crab for more protein but it’s very delicious even without any extras. You can get it as a bowl too! And yum-yum sauce is yum-yummy!

We recently had a fantastic dining experience at Umami Pokerito. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained the restaurant was, creating a professional and welcoming environment.
For our order, I chose the signature Umami Poke Bowl, which was an absolute masterpiece. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the blend of savory flavors and textures was perfectly executed—it’s a truly complex and satisfying dish. My fiancé decided on the Custom Poke Bowl and was thrilled with the ability to personalize every detail, praising the high quality of the fish and toppings. They absolutely loved their creation!

Great place! Everything was fresh and delicious. I have been looking for a poke place since I moved out of CA. I have tried other Poke places and they were mostly disappointing.
Takeout presentation for this poke bowl is 10/10. Very thoughtfully wrapped the miso soup container in plastic so that it would not get everywhere if spilled. The mixed greens is fresh, not a single piece looks wilted or gone bad. Avocado looks beautiful and tastes great. Fish are cut smaller, but nicely portioned, clean tasting and not at all smelly. Not at all skimpy and perfect rice to toppings ratio!

The visit here was actually unplanned and unexpected. Went out for sushi for lunch and the place we wanted to go closed at 3. So after searching for another place to eat we settled here and there is zero regrets. I am SO glad we were not able to get sushi.
The ability to customize your own creation is so perfect for someone like me that likes a lot of things but also has some very picky tastes too..if that even makes sense. They also have some amazing delicious combos that you can just choose from.
The food was so filling without leaving you feeling disgustingly overstuffed. It was fresh and so delicious and came out so quickly. Staff was so pleasant and so helpful with a few questions I had and helped pick out a recommendation for me when I couldn’t decide between two of the pickled daikons.
Inside doesn’t have a lot of decorations or details, I would love to see a bit more done with that. Some plants would look amazing in there to compliment that beautiful wood inside. But overall it’s still very nice inside to sit down and eat.
Very excited to go back and eat here again!!

I had high hopes for this spot, but the visit was underwhelming. The sauces were so heavy and overly sweet that they masked the flavors of the food, and the portions were surprisingly small. It was hard to even tell what I was eating under all that sauce.
The space itself wasn’t very inviting either—the whole place smelled like cheap perfume or air freshener, which was a bit off-putting.
What surprised me most was the service: the single employee took my order, then had customers pick up their own food and clean up afterward, yet still prompted for a tip. It just didn’t feel right considering the setup.

Fantastic place for poke! High quality and amazing prices! 2 of us got decent-sized poke burritos for under $20 total! This was for the basic one choice of protein and limited toppings, but still a great deal!
They also offer soy paper in addition to the traditional nori seaweed for your wrap.

The gentlemen assisting me was kind and helpful. I was the only customer at the time and consequently, had fast service as well. It was clean as well. One thing though, while the steak and a great flavor, I wish it was more thinly sliced so that it would have been easier to bite off — especially since it’s a burrito style.

This poke restaurant is my favorite out of all the ones in the greater CLT area. The flavors of the ingredients is what keeps me coming back. You can taste how everything is made fresh and with care. If you are a fan of poke bowls this place is a must try! PS their shishito peppers are amazing!
