Hey, so… yeh this place is probably the best place on campus if you’re looking to spend the better half of an afternoon waiting for your food. Service was actually great when you compare it to the food which definitely doesn’t fall under that sort of adjective. Please come check this place out if you want to gain a perspective and better appreciation of literally any other place on earth. I actually love the name too because I’m going to make a habit of never coming here again.

Don’t go unless you want debris like hair in your food or want to wait 30 minutes for a premade salad. If you do happen to get your food, it’ll be disgustingly greasy, genuinely shameful to any other habit burger.

I’ve visited The Habit Burger at University of Nevada Reno on March 6, 2024 at 4:49 pm and asked to speak with the manager on duty. I made a special request for my food and the female cashier said special requests may not show up on customers’ copy of receipt but it shows on the staff’s copy.
Be aware that staff might lie to you during some requests.
A staff member named Leon told me the manager left for the day that I knew wasn’t true because I’ve been to this place multiple times and saw the manager on duty myself. Then Leon changed the story and told me, well he’s on his break.
I didn’t request the general manager, I just asked for the manager on duty or shift lead, before the restaurant closing time.

[The teriyaki burger is terrible.] Service is good but burger tastes bad. I ordered a teriyaki char, which has lettuce, tomato, patty, pickles, grilled onion, and grilled pineapple inside. However, the soggy bread and the teriyaki sauce are the Most terrible parts. My burger was dripping when I took it out of the paper bag. It just tastes so disgusting. I don not recommend this flavor. I think the original char burger might be better bc their patty was actually quite good! The dinning environment is comfortable and clean. Anyway, just order anything besides the teriyaki burger!

Ordered my food at 4:38 and now walking to the register 5:05 to get a refund and walk out and never return. This is a joke, we are busy students. They can’t even prepare a simple hamburger in less than 30 minutes. I don’t know how this place remains open, sounds like everyone else has the same experience.

I ordered the tuna ahi sandwich with wheat bread. Fair warning, if you do order the tuna it will take at least 10 minutes longer to make than any other order. The sandwich along with a side of fries came to just under $15. The sandwich tasted fine, but could have benefited greatly from a solid leaf of lettuce as opposed to a few shredded scraps. A tomato slice would have been amazing.
