This place brings you joy. If don’t walk around in here with a smile on your face because it’s wall to wall food goodness…. You’ve got problems. Fried chicken will make you slap your grandma. Look… I’m a southern boy and this is what food will be served in heaven. Just one taste of the chocolate pie will make you want no other desserts out there. Buy your family a meal from here and you will be hailed kind of the dinner table.

lets me start by saying this is my dads favorite place. he swears by the fried chicken. me on the other hand, it was ok. i think ill still stuck to just buying ukrops stuff in publix or kroger.. the food selection was mediocre. wedges looked overcooked and soggy at the same time. i will rave though about the bakery cake balls. those things are amazing. but everything else was just meh to me.

Nobody doe it like Ukrops! We used to have Ukrop’s grocery stores but they all closed. So thankful we can still get the same good food at this market with the same great customer service and atmosphere. Fried chicken with potatoes pecan pie great cakes you name it.

Ukrop can be found in many different places and grocery stores around town. But there’s nothing like going to the mothership. Especially the day before Thanksgiving boy was it insane but they had it well managed. I was still able to get my pumpkin pie and I love that they have half cakes! They are really cool areas to sit around outside if you just wanna relax in the sun and places if you have a kid to play!

Clean. Pleasant. But not sure I liked the selection. Next time I will try the fried chicken. It’s a take out place. Mostly prepared foods. A variety of desserts. Loved my layer cake. Buy it by the slice. A quarter or a whole cake

Driving home, I detected an aroma long since forgotten. I googled Ukrop’s and confirmed it was located 500 ft. from my current location. That unforgettable smell was , as I suspected, Ukrop’s fried chicken!!! Walking through the cakes , pies, prepared foods , coffee and of course, fried chicken and potato wedges at the counter, brought back memories. I filled my basket with a plethora of choices and raced home. The best ending to a great Saturday afternoon. First time but not the last time.

Went in there on yesterday, and as always the lady that normally works the pizza has a horrid attitude. She never smiles and was rude to the customer in front of me. The customer simply just asked for a slice of pizza and she gave her a dirty look and aggressively put on her gloves to grab the slice of pizza. I was next in line to be waited on for pizza and she simply looks at me and walks away to the back!! Everytime I go into the Ukrops Marketplace, this lady always seems very angry or unhappy. Another coworker then had to help me with a slice of pizza after I told him what she had done. I then spoke to a manager there( middle aged lady) to let let her know how the worker was treating customers. The manager did not seem surprised and said that she would speak to her. I am also not surprised to see another review on this same employee listed as well. Ukrops- bring back the days of great customer service. This lady’s attitude will cause you to lose money and customers.
