Fresh and delicious!! Ordered the Tokyo Train Car handheld and it was amazingly tender and flavorful on a pillowy soft roll. The Tuna Poke Bowl had so much fresh tuna with rice and seaweed salad. Shoyu ramen was loaded with pork belly, soft boiled egg, amazing broth and fresh veggies. Shrimp Shumai appetizer also delish. I will be back again for sure! I encourage everyone to give this place a try you will not be disappointed. Nice local business family run super friendly staff.

So good we went back twice in one week!
Gluten free friendly!
The poke bowl is delicious and my wife ate up the ramen! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.
Definitely a great takeout spot or enjoy inside at the counter or outside on the patio.

The food is some of the best food I’ve had on Cape. The sandwich I got had some intense and amazing flavors. The duck fat onions were just out of this world. I got the ramen as well. And it was definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. Granted not too much ramen. But still. This place will have me craving and coming back.

I really want Ukiyo to succeed and wish them well. The staff are super friendly. Food-wise, I’ve tried four different items, and they’ve all been ‘pretty good’ but haven’t wowed me yet. A recent chirashi bowl special was underwhelming, and IMO a tad steep for lunch at $26. Unfortunately, they only have meager outdoor seating, so don’t go looking for ambiance or a cosy sit-down spot. There’s big potential at Ukiyo. Hoping they will deliver on it.

Incredible. Really…I had the duck Ramen dish..needed a little comfort food on a chilly day…the broth was perfect, duck was tender, mushrooms and leeks seasoned and sautéed to perfection and the sorba noodles, again, cooked perfectly. Love the vibe and this will be my staple go to place for sure….

Finally tried Ukiyo for the first time yesterday and we were not disappointed! We tried the pumpkin curry, miso tare ramen, and eel unagidon. All of them were incredible! A lot of thought, care, and quality ingredients clearly go into all the dishes. The mushroom leek spring rolls and kimchi pickles were also great sides. Good portions on everything too! Will definitely be back to try everything on the menu. And thanks to the owner who was very welcoming and was helpful in choosing dishes for the vegetarian in our group!

We had the miso soup and tuna noodles—both were fabulous. I would have appreciated a slightly larger serving. We ate at the picnic tables in the back—the area could use some landscaping to make it inviting. I’ll be going back but plan on eating elsewhere.
EDIT: I came back because they advertised a Tuesday menu. I asked about it when I was there because the Google shows them closed on Tuesdays, and was told they’re open. I’m sitting in the parking lot and they are indeed closed.

5 Stars – Amazing Miso Ramen! ⭐️
Ukiyo in Brewster is a total gem. It’s more of a pickup spot than a full sit-down restaurant, but the atmosphere is really cool—modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed.
I tried the miso ramen and it was seriously delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, not too salty. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings—especially the chicken karaage —was top-notch.
Even though it’s a takeout-focused place, it still feels special. You can tell everything is made with care. If you’re anywhere near Brewster and craving ramen, this is 100% worth the stop.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Foodies here and we are thrilled to have Ukiyo as part of Brewster’s dining scene! Firstly, they are a Japanese-inspired restaurant serving many well-known Japanese dishes with a twist. While it’s (of course) not fully ‘authentic’, it manages to hit the right notes.
We had the Spring Rolls, Katsudon and the Shoyu Ramen. They were all delicious! The Katsudon had a crispy, panko crusted pork chop served atop a wonderful egg scramble on rice, smothered in a light brown gravy. While I thought the grave could have used more salt, I think perhaps it’s just a personal preference and really, who needs more sodium in their diet! The Shoyu Ramen was fantastic. Nice springy noodles submerged in a rich soy-infused chicken broth, served with Chashu and a lovely soy egg done just right. Spring rolls were tasty, bite-sized morsels served with a truffle duck sauce.
I highly recommend trying Ukiyo for something different and refreshing! They’re not open past 6pm but you can always get it to go! Looking forward to having more happy meals at Ukiyo!!
