Two River Junction was fine. There is not much in the area so this was one of just a couple options. The service was friendly enough, though not overly so. The food was seasoned well and reasonably priced. The view was nice though you’re looking at the river through thick windows. The outdoor seating looked unkempt and like it wasn’t meant for people to use. The thing you notice most about Two River Junction though, is that there is political messaging all over the walls. You can’t look anywhere without seeing some sort of political saying or picture. This has very likely made many people uncomfortable, as it did us. I don’t get the sense that they care if their customers are particularly comfortable with it but I thought some might want to know when they’re making their choice.

Went to this restaurant yesterday and it was great. Very good food. Very reasonable. This is a diamond in the ruff. Very nice folks and sitting looking out over the river we actually saw an eagle flying. We will definitely be back. also a great little store to shop in. Lot of history showing in this place with all their pictures.

Located behind a hunting shop and a general store, is a cozy little strip of tables overlooking the Lackawaxen River. Breakfast food was made to order and was delicious. Our waitress was so nice and gave us the best service I’ve had in a while. I would go back to this tiny town, just for this place. Highly recommend for those passing through.

Great scenic dinning right on the water. I love it friendly staff and good food. It was beautiful, got to see bald eagles flying by while eating our meal. It’s worth the stop definitely!

We love TRJ for the food, the view, and the atmosphere! The owner is old school and you know what he’s about; if you don’t care for the signs than odds are he doesn’t want your business anyway. And guess what: it won’t make or break him! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cheaper meal and the wait staff is always friendly and helpful.

Horrible experience. We went to order two sandwiches to take with us while we went rafting. There was a poisonous woman behind the counter who was nothing but rude and nasty, not only to us but to the other people working there. I’ve never seen such petty and rude behaviour from an adult before. As we were being served by another woman (as she refused to serve us) the poisonous woman decided that she was in such a bad mood (self admitted) that she was going to leave and not finish her shift.

This is a hidden gem known only by locals. Small dinsd in back of a general store. The view is spectacular, with large bay windows in the dining area overlooking the river. Costa was amazingly low and food was very good. A must for anyone in the area.

If Phili or NYC is your idea of great then you won’t be happy here. This it not down town, this is real rural America. I live about 40 miles away and make the drive on weekends to dine here. The food is very good, the wait staff is courteous and very friendly, the ambiance is to die for ! I have had the (summer only) BBQ ribs, and they are done outside on a real charcoal fire so they are not the same every time, but that is what real BBQ is like. The ribs taste great. I have had a breakfast and several lunch meals at TRJ and I have never been disappointed. All seating is looking out on the river and morning and late afternoon you will probably see Bald Eagles fly past the windows. Red Tail Hawks, Turkey Vultures and various other birds are usually around. And this is bear country, so if you see an over sized black dog, do not try to pet it. I lived my first 55 years in the shadow of the Empire State and World Trade but my heart has always been in sync with real American folk, and this is where they are. This area it a pinnacle of authentic rural America and I am a better American because I have been here.
