Social Profile:

Two-Bit Street Café opened it’s doors in 2003, owned by James Dayley and Penny Allred-Dayley. Penny’s mission statement for Two-Bit Street is to provide home style food and drinks to our customers. I don’t want to provide restaurant food, I want to welcome the world into my home and cook for them. It may not be fast food, but it will be the best. Penny and James still run Two-Bit Street Cafe’, Penny is still the head chef, and we still believe we serve the highest quality, and best tasting, food in Ogden.

Old-timey operation serving diverse food all-day, as well as music & magic shows.

The interior of the bar area is welcoming and, was to me, nicer than expected. However we had a party of five and were seated in the area where about half the room was taken up by a stage. Special magician shows and a flyer for a hypnotist may be the big draw. Service was slow so it was a good thing that we weren’t in a hurry. Outdoor seating was available. Husband said and I agreed that our meals tasted better than they first appeared. And with the prices lower than the same sandwiches, fancier presentation and higher expectations at other restaurants, we thought overall that our meals were a good value. Sweet potato fries were a substitute side and cost extra. Steady stream of customers. We ordered lunch items but breakfast is served all day on the weekends and it may be that breakfast items are more popular.

We came here because we saw two ladies eating a charcuterie board and it grabbed our attention and we wanted one.

Stopped here on the way to the hot springs and I cannot wait to go back. Cozy, old-time feel in an adorable historic area.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing! Penny is an wonderful cook, Everything is done to perfection. We have been going there since they opened. James loves to bend a spoon for the kids, even for the adult kids. Good home cooked food.

Not in a rush and want to enjoy a home cooked meal, then look no further. Be prepared to be welcomed by some of the friendliest staff. I highly recommend the potatoes and hash.

Quaint hometown Cafe with delicious food and intriguing history. Hidden rooms and compartments, expansive and tasty menu, delightful staff, the Al Capone room…and so much more!

I hesitant to share a review because I want to keep this place to myself. We came for weekend breakfast. I was very impressed by the selection and the price. The produce was actually tasty. The heirloom potatoes and tomatoes that came with my eggs Florentine were delicious. These weren’t your typical grainy Roma tomatoes. So please don’t go here, I don’t want to share!

The service is a little slow and they tend to run out of things. However, I absolutely love their food. The staff is very nice and keeps you updated on your order. I crave their sandwiches, and also recommend the place for a good brunch.

Really nice little local bar/restaurant. Service was a little bit slow getting seated but once we were seated it was very nice. Cool tidbit fact, Al Capone used to frequent here. Food was okay served hot and the price was very reasonable, especially the drinks. I tried the muffaletta sandwich, which was good but not truly a muffalatta sandwich from a New Orleans standpoint.
