Twisters is a fast casual dining experience specializing in New Mexican foods with our famous red and green chile as well as American favorites. We serve breakfast all day, including our Best in the City Breakfast Burritos! Twisters was started with the idea that customers wanted quality food at fast food prices with quick service in a pleasant environment. Our goal is to always exceed our customers expectations in value, quality, and service. Founded in 1998, Twisters Burgers and Burritos has grown to 18 locations with 16 in Albuquerque, and 2 in the Denver, Colorado area.

The food has almost always has been good here. We had green cicken enchilada platter today and they were fresh and tasty. The staff was pleasant and we appreciated that. The restaurant was clean. Keep up the good work. By the way, we have gone to this location since they first opened.

Sauce on ultimate chicken sandwich was way too hot to enjoy and made me cough. Had to remove chicken and use bread from home to finish it, and re-fry my fries as they were very underdone. Person at counter was nice but food was a big disappointment.

The staff is friendly and took my order quickly. I ordered the carne abovada breakfast plate and I was quite disappointed. It comes served in a large flour tortilla with papas, beans and eggs. They forgot to put the carne abovada so I had it on the side. The eggs weren’t cooked all the way, it still had runny white yolk. My friend got a ground beef burrito but was given a chicharrón burrito instead. We were hungry so we ate but I didn’t finish mine and regret paying $26 bucks for that. The tables were dirty and it just seems like the workers didn’t care much for the place. I will probably not eat here ever again.

This place is a disgrace. You walk in and see a ‘dining room’ that looks completely barren. Just a few metal chairs and tables. Very unappealing. The guy that took my order acted like I was a bother. When I asked him a question about an item on the menu, he acted like he didn’t even hear me. Just stared at me. I literally had to ask him again. When we got our food the order was incomplete. When I went back to the counter, again I felt like I was bothering him. Finally got the order right. The food was edible, but subpar.

This place has gone down hill. The kid in drive thru was rude and we wanted enchiladas and gave us a side of enchiladas. Did not even know this was a thing. When we told him what is this? He just looked at me and saud “that is what you wanted”. So disappointed.

We just waiting 40 minutes in the drive through and got the wrong order. We didn’t want to wait another 40 to ask to get it fixed. We waiting so long that I had to use the restroom so I ran in and the doors to the restroom are locked with a sign saying, “only for paying customers.” No one was there to unlock so I couldn’t even use the restroom. It’s sad because we used to love Twisters.

Thank you twisters! I am editing my previous review. We had stopped going there, but took a chance and got our normal taco Wednesday order. The tacos were fantastic! You deserve this 5 star rating. Now we’ll be stopping by for taco Tuesday, Wednesday, or whenever.
