Twistee Treat is still a solid spot if you’re craving soft-serve ice cream. The ice cream itself was good and definitely hit the spot, especially on a hot Florida day. The place has that classic roadside ice cream stand vibe, and the giant cone-shaped buildings are kind of iconic. 
My only real complaint is the menu situation. The menu board didn’t have prices listed, which felt a little weird when ordering. It would definitely make things easier if you could see what everything costs before deciding.
Overall, good ice cream and a fun stop — just nothing crazy special compared to other ice cream places. Still worth stopping by if you’re in the mood for a quick sweet treat.

Never disappoints. Quarts are great if you want to bring it home. Comes with two toppings already mixed in if you want. The lines can be long but the kids love to come here for a special treat. They are always very friendly and they have the best soft serve! Plus you get reward points if you give them your phone number and can redeem for dollars off. If you haven’t tried it you should check it out. Look for the ice cream cone shaped building!

I looked up the location in Riverview and it said open until 10:30. I got there at 10:15 and all the lights and open signs were off. I pulled in the drive through and was told I can only order a cone. If you’re going to close everything down early to where you can’t access the full menu just don’t stay open that late and have people drive over.

Great ice cream my kids loves this place. But overall I paid 23 dollars for a kiddie cone, small cone, and waffle cone and a sundae I don’t know what the prices are for these ice cream. But I didn’t get my sundae after waiting and watching everyone else gwt there meal I ask a young lady she said it wasn’t on my ticket for paying for it. And I need to pay. So now I’m hot and yes over an ice cream because it was only 4 orders.

Quick Saturday treat! The line moved super fast (less than 4 minutes) and the ice cream was amazingly fresh. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit to a Twistee Treat. The servings were VERY generous! We got small twirls (their version of a Blizzard or McFlurry) and they were too big to eat for one person. The twirls were well blended with a nice ratio of ice cream to candy in every bite. The ice cream is very smooth and not overly rich. My husband thought is was frozen custard but the signs said ice cream.
They definitely have peak times. We went at 7:00 on Sunday and the line was about 6 deep at the walk up window and ten deep in the drive through. Even though the line was longer the staff was very efficient and we only waited about 5 minutes for our ice cream.
We will try this again in the future keeping in mind the portion size.
