This place is awful. Over priced. Staff couldn’t be worse. Do you want dry food that was cooked 6 hours ago, held in a tray, and reheated to order? Want a burger like a hockey puck? Beef shreds with the texture of cigarette butts? Want to be charged $20+ for a meal served on a sheet tray? How about a beer in a dirty warm glass? Don’t bother with this place.

Horrible place it has a mouse there saying hello and the manager didn’t apologize or seem concerned. Her response is there ever where in Rochester ‘ I asked her to waive my 3$card fee for my inconvience .She declined to help me. I will never go back they might think roaches is no big deal either.Despicable customer service.

Disappointing and definitely will not return. It took a long time to place an order and to get our food, and there was only one other table in the place. I ordered the poutine and the Baby Yoda burger. You can see the picture and make your own determination on the poutine. The burger was not great. Instead of the fried green tomato, it had a normal slice of red tomato. The small amount of mac and cheese had already fallen off the burger entirety before I got it. So it was not a special burger at all. This place seems like a standard basic bar trying to do food, even though it advertises itself as a trendy pub.

I’ve been here only once but the food was great. They have an incredible selection of French fries and dipping sauces you can get with them, prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of beer and other food items on the menu. Service was a bit slow. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. Definitely feels like a more contemporary and modern location. The art and decor are very interesting ranging from star wars to muppets painted on the walls. To give some insight, we were there on a Friday night at around 7 or 8 pm and on the various TVs there was baseball, a talk show, basketball, golf, and what appeared to be a documentary about madagascar playing.

I absolutely love coming to Twisted Tap! What a welcome addition to the East Avenue area. Staff are attentive friendly and top-notch!! I’ve had several food items here and never a bad experience each time. I’m overdue for a visit so I’ll see you all soon!!

I very rarely write bad reviews but this was just tooo many strikes ….. =( The the poutine looks like dog diarrhea. The braised beef was just a piece of chewy fat. They have cocktails in their logo, but their entire cocktail menu is vodka with juice. Our appetizer and meal came out at the same time. The chairs are those metal ones that are super uncomfortable and too small.

We are here for the first time this past weekend. The waited greeted us very excited and set a table up for us outside on the patio right away. The waiter/bartender was fun; he created a new drink for us off the cuff and it was delish! He was helping e everyone and kept a smile on his face. The food was hot and tasty. We had the platter of fried heaven. It was hot and the dipping sauces endless and all tasty. The burgers and homemade chips were something we will definitely get again! The only improvement we suggest is time between food order and getting to table. We were hungry and although it was a little bit of a wait it was well worth it. We will definitely be back ! Thanks for the great time! We are happy we chose Twisted Tap for our Saturday lunch!
