We went for the $1 oysters and shrimp at the bar. We were welcomed immediately by all the staff especially Nicole. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. The drinks were awesome too. Try the fried calamari- it’s cut thicker and so fresh. Can’t wait to go back.

Most restaurants have struggled in this space, but the owners of Turtle Cove have, through sheer force of will created an upscale restaurant that provides everything a big city bistro provides, but in a small town locale. Food quality here is top notch, with excellent service. Steak prepared perfectly and quality seafood. Owners are often on the scene to make sure everything is just right.

Worst meal of my entire vacation & always looked forward to visiting here. We ordered wine & scotch, shrimp cocktail, King Crab Leg, sirloin steak, side of scalloped potato & dessert. Aside from a very rowdy group, we were the only people in the dining room on 6/12/18. When told the King Crab special was $45.00 a leg (sounded weird to me), I asked if the leg was large & I was assured it was. It was no larger than a fish stick. My husband ate half his steak because the other half was fat & grizzle. The potatoes were dry. The owner came in & joined the rowdy group (sounded like he may have been doing business with one of the patrons) never acknowledging us with a smile or a nod. You would think that being the only diners ordering an expensive meal, someone would have prepared a great meal for us. It was horrible. Again, the worst meal I had during my 2 weeks in Marblehead. Another wonderful experience at Turtle Cove last night. Stefan and his staff treat you like family on arrival and all throughout the meal. They have a terrific bar here and always great music to listen to. The Food is excellent and they always huddle with you to insure that your experience is going well. One of my two favorite places to go in M’Head.
