A small home town feel, kind and welcoming workers, and most importantly the best food for reasonable prices!! I highly recommend trying this place! I don’t enjoy quiche but the ham and Swiss one from here is to die for!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! My tastebuds have died and gone to literal food heaven. I’ve spent the last 4 weeks travelling around a decent portion of the country for work, and I am not exaggerating when I say this is seriously some of the BEST freaking food I have EVER had. Not to mention the A1 service we received from the girl with the blue hair, she gave us samples when we couldn’t decide. . We were scratching our heads trying to figure out how this place doesn’t have a line out the door and around the street. I have to say, I have never been so inspired to travel northern Europe if anything just to try where this incredible food came from.

We love it here at turtle bread! Big open space with lots of windows and tables to choose from, the tables are so big you don’t mind sharing it with others.

I really hate to write this review. I’ve been coming here all summer while working in the area. Food has been fantastic but today’s experience was bad enough that I will never be back. I made my order and when it came out I was missing an item, no big deal just asked for clarification if I paid for it or not. In the middle of this happening the owner (I came to find out later) came over and started berating and belittling the staff. Made an arse of himself right in front of me. As a small business owner I was appalled by his behavior. Nobody should ever talk to an employee that way. It was gross and demeaning. I cannot stand for that and will not be returning to any Turtle Bread. Very sad day, feel bad for the employees in that abusive environment.

Sandwiches, soups, pastries, pies, quiche — they’re all good. The coffee is fine too; not their standout, but a welcome addition with your food. All the basic espresso drinks available.

This has always been one of my favorite spots to eat. My wife and I moved out of the area a couple years ago. Went back on a weekend trip and it continues to be just as good. The veggie burrito was tasty as well as the salmon scramble. Be sure to get some of the bakery items. There are many to choose from!

I love the experience here it’s not your average restaurant in fact I’m not really sure what to call it other than tasty and good customer service. Coffee, bread, soups, donuts, cookies, cakes, sandwiches and more parking might be interesting as there isn’t much of it so be prepared to park around the block or something. With that said it would be hard to go wrong eating here.

The soup and bread are great foods worth the trip. However, you can find better hot entrees in the neighborhood. There’s a wide selection of baked sugar treats, but they aren’t the best you’ve ever had. I feel like this place could easily go above the norm, but just isn’t quite there yet

I have always had a wonderful experience at Turtle Bread, however they should be more careful when it comes to selecting ingredients.
