Just tried Turquoise Persian Grill recently, a new authentic Persian restaurant in Roslyn Heights, and had such a great experience!

We had the most amazing experience at Turquoise Persian Grill & Bar! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the decor made the space feel so special.
We started with the classic pita and yogurt sauce, which was the perfect appetizer. For starters, we tried the Stew Tahdig with Ghormeh Sabzi, and it was absolutely savory and flavorful — unlike anything we’ve ever had. The Turquoise Salad was vibrant, colorful, and loaded with fresh flavors.
For our entree, we had the Safiri Combo, which came with perfectly cooked Joobideh and Barg — juicy, flavorful, and balanced beautifully with the rice. We also enjoyed a pomegranate margarita and a Yaldatini with lavashak, which paired perfectly with our meal.
The highlight of the night was the belly dancing performance, which made the dinner experience so fun and lively. To finish, we indulged in the sour cherry ice cream with molasses and the Persian ice cream with saffron and pistachio — both incredible. Persian tea and cookies were a lovely ending to the evening.

We had Darbari Kabab, which was a wonderful mixture of Koobideh, Joojeh, Barg, and Lamb Chops, and it was absolutely amazing! Every single bite was tender and flavorful, and each type of kabab had its own unique taste.
We also had Stew Tahdig, which was the crispy rice with Ghorme sabzi, and it made the crispy rice incredibly delicious. The combination of the crispy rice with the rich stew was just perfect.
I had such a great experience there — the food, the atmosphere, and the service all came together to make it really memorable. I will definitely go back to try the food again, and I highly recommend their authentic dishes to anyone who enjoys flavorful and delicious food!

Went here for dinner last week and loved it! The dips were delicious and the Persian tacos were GREAT!! Drinks were made to perfection. The Persian ice cream for dessert was so light with a lavender flavoring. The service was beyond fantastic and the restaurant itself was very clean. Definitely recommend !!

Me and my wife visited this restaurant twice in 2025 when we traveled New York. In our first visit, we ordered Persian kabab and as we expected the food was perfect. It was cooked perfectly and the quality of the material they use is noticeably high.
Koobideh and Barg were juicy, tender and flavourful .
We enjoyed the food and that is why we returned again for another meal but this time we ordered fish. Fish was delicious and cooked perfectly too.
Besides our memorable trip to New York and enjoying the city, having tasteful Persian food made our travel more pleasant.

Hands down the best kebab I’ve ever had! Everything was delicious. All the meats were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Roslyn. We had a warm, welcoming and fun experience. We ordered a mixed platter so we could sample some of the dishes. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was.
Hands down the best koobideh I ever had and I have tried many! It was the perfect blend of meat and spice and it was perfectly cooked retaining moisture and melted in my mouth. The barg made with filet mignon was so tender and marinated perfectly.
I want to go back and try various other dishes but I don’t think I could ever go there and not have the dishes mentioned above.
The service was great and they had a belly dancer who was very interactive, fun and entertaining.
The service and treatment by the staff was welcoming and warm. We felt like we were part of the family.
I have to say my mouth is watering just writing this review!

Found a hidden gem! The kebabs were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the rice dishes and sides were just as impressive. The cocktails were expertly made and really complemented the meal. We finished with a frozen cherry tart that was the perfect ending. Everything felt fresh and authentic !!! definitely a spot I’ll be coming back

My first time trying Persian restaurant and it was a pleasant visit! The place is beautiful, budget friendly, portions are huge, got leftovers to lunch, and the food is delicious!! Kebabs, the salmon, the vegetables, and that appetizer with meat and crispy rice was spectacular!! Great services and the drinks were so good! I recommend the visit!
