Formerly Tulunes steak & ale house. Now it’s living the dream. The wings were crisp and well sauced. I got a side of tater tots and for $3 it was huge, a great value and super crispy. I guarantee you super crispy fries or tots and a lot more than if you went to a fast food restaurant. Please support your local restaurants.

Went in a large group. Over cooked steak. The shrimp on top burnt to inedible. 3 meals sent back. High end prices and they sent food out that a bar would be embarrassed to serve. Will not take a chance on paying that price for bad steaks again. So disappointed. I was really looking forward to this visit. If you can’t handle a big group don’t take them.

This is a tough review. If it was based solely on the selection of draft beer as well as the 100+ bottles in the cooler, it would be a FIVE. However, after the name, “Steak” is the first word and that is where this place failed miserably.
My wife and I drove over 2 hours to met her Father and his SO for an early dinner. My Father-in-Law had been to Tulune’s before and had a great dinner so we thought we would treat again. We started out with the cheese and bread fondue and it was very good and the portions spot on. But that was about the end of the good experience on food.
My FiL ordered a steak, my wife a steak salad and I ordered a premium steak burger. I’ll start with the least worst first. I ordered my burger medium well so it should have a little pink. It came well done and was completely tasteless. While it looked good, I would have gotten more flavor from a Big Mac. I will say the fries were quite tasty and were probably the best thing on the plate.
Next we move to the steak salad. The salad portion was spot on. The steak was ordered medium rare and it was more medium and was pretty much colder than room temperature. I think it had sat on the prep counter for at least 20 minutes and based on the time to receive our food, that is probably fact. We sent the steak back and when it was returned, it was well done but hot. So much for preferences.
Finally, my Father-in-Law’s steak. I’ve included a photo of what was put in front of him. While ordering a steak “medium well” may be frowned upon, this is what he ordered and the steak should have had a hint of pink. As you can see, he was served a steak which was burnt and charred beyond recognition. I couldn’t believe this was even placed in front of him. Obviously this was sent back as well and you would think he would be served a completely new plate with correctly grilled steak along with fresh, hot sides. Nope, the new steak was brought out on a plate alone and to make matters worse, it was filleted with each side being well done and the ONLY portion being medium well was the portion of the steak which was not reduced. IDK, I’m not a chef, but the only time I’ve seen any steak filleted is a “filet” that was to be cooked more than medium. I’m pretty sure the person cooking in the kitchen was a line cook and definitely NOT a chef.
Now I don’t know about you but first off, as a server, I would have never brought my FiL’s steak to the table and after sending two dinners back, I would have alerted the manager of the issue. Instead I had to ask to speak to the Manager on Duty and he did come right away. He was also very concerned and explained to me the actions he took to remedy the situation. While that may be good for those after us, it certainly didn’t do anything to help our experience. While I appreciate his efforts and what he did, this was such a bad experience that we will never return for the food. I will go back for the beer at the bar, but this was a one and done for us.

Wonderful atmosphere, Food was delicious! I highly recommend the steak sandwich!
Beer draft selection was great, bottled selection was outstanding.
Service was excellent! Ask for Jess if you can she is super sweet, friendly, and attentive.
A bit hard to find but worth the effort.

Excellent service and excellent food. They didn’t over complicate the steaks and let the beefy flavor shine through. I asked for medium rare and they hit it. Huge beer selection. Keeping it at 4 stars bc the decor is a little plain. Also, we sat in the dining room separate from the bar and adjacent seating area. Felt like we were cut off from the rest of the restaurant.

We arrived with a party of 8 and were pleased to have everything set up and ready. However, we were quite unhappy with steaks. They were not cooked as ordered and the types chosen did not match up. While the servers were pleasant, there were very long wait times for everything from beverages to food.

This place and the Saloon share nothing in terms of decor and style. This is a legit Steakhouse that is serving quality food at good pricing. The staff was quite mixed up and short-handed, even though our reservations were made days in advance. I think with time they’ll iron everything out.

Fantastic food and beverages, great service, and allergy safe! They can work with you to ensure your food is free of gluten, soy and dairy – and yet still delicious. I have had both the pork chop and the salmon; I recommend them both. If you can get a table in the big picture window area, you’ll be pleased; that is definitely the most desirable seating area.

Food was pretty good. Service sucked. Waited nearly 1 hour to order meal. One steak was ordered medium rare and came back medium well. Had an 8:15pm reservation and didn’t leave until 10:00pm. We were on time, nothing else was.
