The picture probably helps out the size of his crabs however, they were super small and although I’m not a crab expert, some seemed to be illegal looking! Customer service is trash! No speaking, no communication whatsoever! I would never spend my hard earned money for trash crabs and customer service ever again! I also had to double back after realizing I was only given 1 dozen crabs after paying for 2. And to top it off….witnessing an older lady basically get yelled at for asking questions about something she was going to spend HER money on took the cake for me. Like her, I should’ve politely walked off and took my money with me after not being greeted after I spoke. Support black businesses they say….

Went here today asked for jumbo shrimp.. got home and had these little shrimp in the container the shrimp I picked out were big. It was 2 big jumbo shrimp in the container the rest was small. So you see and pick out one size and he cooks another size close up your container you get home and see something else. This is the second time.. he also did this some years ago with the crabs. Still rude with bad attitude.

I had a terrible experience at this crab truck and would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. I ordered a dozen medium male crabs but was disappointed to find out the next day that I had received all female crabs instead—not what I paid for.
As someone who always brings Maryland crabs back to Florida, I was especially frustrated by the mistake. I reached out to the owner to address the issue and offered him the opportunity to make it right with a reimbursement since I didn’t receive what I ordered. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he got loud, started shouting, and hung up on me—completely unacceptable behavior for a business owner.
If you’re looking for fresh, hot, and delicious crabs, I highly recommend Moe’s instead. They always get the order right and treat their customers with respect. Save yourself the hassle and take your business somewhere that values its customers!

First I wanted to say I have been trying to get crabs from this place for the last three years but every time I wanted them they were never opened. Thursdays 8/29/24 I was desperately looking for crabs and they were opened. I first called and a guy answered the phone I asked if they had large females and was told yes. I called back to see if they took debit cards and the guy sounded irritated that I was asking that question. So I get to the place in less than 5 minutes after calling and ask for large females and was told they don’t have any large female crabs. I told the guy I just called 5 minutes ago and was told they had them, his exact words was the person that’s answering the phone is not even here, so my guess is he was basically telling people anything to get them there. Because I was desperately wanting crabs and didn’t feel like going anywhere else I decided to get mixed females and med males a dozen each. I ate a couple of each and they wasn’t all that great. I don’t think I will be going back there ever again because one they lied to get me there and two they wasn’t worth the money at all.

I’ve been to this place quite a few times over the past two years and was happy to be supporting a black owned business. I always get the large male crabs.The crabs were always cold and the service was not the best but the crabs were good. The last three times I went the crabs have been light and a lot smaller than what I am used to getting from b and s. Yesterday I went and ordered a dozen medium males (the large was sold out) and 4/12 of my crabs were extra small (see pictures and let me know what you think) and the rest were light and didn’t have a lot of meat. If you live in Waldorf this place is conveniently located and fast. But it’s a hit or miss with the quality of the crabs you’re getting. The customer service is trash. For example, I have been yelled at by the male owner as others are mentioning, the wife is rude… I sat in my car assuming she would wave to me when my order was ready. Got out the car to check and the man said your order been ready we been calling you . She also had something rude to say about me ordering only a dozen at a time. I also texted them a picture of the crabs when I got home and got no response. I just ate them and charged it as a lost. But I won’t be back.

I’ve been coming here almost weekend this summer trying to support a fellow “black owned business” I never liked his customer service but for the most part the crabs were pretty good. Today I got a dozen and a half. There were a bunch of cars outside but some how my crabs were ready within a minute of me ordering them. I thought this was odd but okay. On the ride home I couldn’t really smell the normal crab smell. Once I got home to eat them they were really cold, hard to crack, and super tough. They also weren’t that tasty. When my mother in law called him to explain he was very nasty saying nothing was wrong with the crabs. As a business owner you should be able to take constructive criticism and offer some type of compensation. I will never go to him again! He needs to take a class In customer service!

Just got a dozen and 1/2 crabs from this guy. Normally they are pretty good. Well just let me say i won’t be going back. I never did like his customer service anyway but his location is convenient. Crabs today are cold and very dry. Maybe overcooked. I called him to let him know crabs were cold and dry. He got very defensive. He said, “those crabs are fresh, i just cooked them. It’s hot outside”. Like what does that mean. Needless to say, i won’t be going back. Black owned business my foot. I’m going back to Captain Moe’s.

Worst customer service. Last time I came here it was bad. Decided 2 years later to give them another shot and true to form terrible. No live crabs but you selling cooked which means all they’re doing is reheating them. The guy that’s waiting on folks clearly hates his job. No thanks, I’ll drive to Captain Whites. Will not return to this spot that’s 3 minutes fromy house.
