This place opened about 6 months ago and I am now a fan. The food was very flavorful (shrimp tacos, Steak burrito) and so were the drinks (Fresca Margarita, Spicy/ Jalapeno Margarita). I’ve read other reviews where the service was a little shaky but honestly, service at any restaurant can fluctuate given the time of day and how busy they are. Fortunately for me and my family, we didn’t have any issues with our dinner service. I recommend anyone give this place a try if you like Mexican food. I will return soon and see how my experience changes and provide an update but so far so good.

This is the first time we tried Tulum Prime. All positives and one negative. Food was divine (I had the shrimp stuffed plantains and they were freaking delicious!), drinks were exceptional. Presentation of food and drinks was gorgeous and our server, Deyibeth, was amazing. We all loved it. OK, the negative? The music was insanely loud. I mean so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We thought it would be lovely if the music was much lower and perhaps a genre more suited to the decor. Other than that, we can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant has wonderful paintings on walls and great neon lighting. The was a great beat, fast pace and and wasn’t loud. The food was good. We had a burrito and the Birria tacos with a great consomé on side. Some items on menu online are not listed in the restaurant. We had a great waitress, and the staff was super fast. I will tackle the huge rice bowl on the next family visit.

Tonight we came in for taco Tuesday as we always do since Tula has been in the neighborhood and Rodrigo has been our waiter and I must say he is awesome and very friendly and personable. I didn’t think he would notice us but he did he welcomed us back and I was very impressed we ordered drinks regular margaritas and the chipotle lime wings order was perfect and drinks were great. He checked on us and made sure we were good, made us feel exclusive. We ordered shrimp tacos and chicken ceaser salad. Food was hot and tasted very good and flavorful. This is our local spot now to enjoy Taco Tuesday. Rodrigo is a gem to Tula.

Tulum was an unexpected surprise! The most attentive staff, Mexican entrees with an unexpected and pleasant twist, a beautiful atmosphere, and great specials. We happened to be there on Friday, which was ladies night. Can’t wait to try their Sunday Brunch!

My friends and I came in for a midday drink. I arrived right at opening and was welcomed right away. We had a variety of drinks; passion fruit martini, mojito, berry margarita, spicy margarita, classic margarita, and green tea shots. It was all good (thanks David!) It was Happy Hour so some of our drinks were half off. As far as food I had carne asada which came with rice. The meat was well seasoned, a little more fatty than I would like but it’s a ribeye so that’s expected, the rice was good as well. My friend had a quesadilla which she said was really good. Overall we really liked the restaurant. Hoping to try it again one of these evenings when they have the live DJ. Excited to see what brunch is like as well! I would like to add that I’m glad I went in without reading reviews. My experience was nothing like what I read.

This is exactly what this area needed, great food and amazing drinks. The brunch on Sunday’s has the delicious brunch menu that has something for everyone, perfect mimosas and the music just completes the whole experience. Will definitely go back, frequently!!
