The food is typically very good but the new afternoon and night waitress needs a lot of work. She is makes too many excuses as to why she is slow to refill drinks and is not very friendly. The previous server that moved back to Idaho was the best.

I’ve had 2 meals at Tubby’s: breakfast & dinner. Both were truly good meals….real food. Coffee was excellent, fun hush puppies, crispy trout, home-cooked beets, eggs perfectly done… and priced right. I will go back again and you should too.

Got the cheese stake and it didn’t taste right and it was super greasy. They were short handed so we had to wait a long time for our food. The few people they had working was very nice.

This place is Awesome!!!!! Can not say enough about it! The burgers, pork chops, chicken, anything you order is great! and the service is the best there is around hands down! For the price, service and food you can not go wrong with this place!! Best restaurant in this area even including Fayetteville.

went there today. waited over an hour for our food. finally decided to pay for our drinks and leave. others were waiting as well and informed us they had been waiting for 2 hours. this is NOT the proper way to do business!! this was my 2nd time eating here. first time was a pleasurable experience and had our food in about 15 mins. was told today they are under new management and have a new cook. I am not sure what they were doing in the over an hour that I waited and others waiting 2 hours and no one had gotten food. a gentlemen walked in who had placed a call in order. It wasn’t even ready. when I left he had been there 30 mins waiting for his call in order. Just pitiful. they only had one waitress and she was slow. she also was trying to help 3 other people in the back who were cooking and preparing the food. how many dummies does it take? seriously! will NOT be back and will tell others not to as well. if this place doesn’t shape up soon I see it going out of business real soon.

Great place to eat…family oriented the people that own it and run it make you feel welcome and right at home…food is cooked fresh and made there ..they make their own fries onion rings everything is homemade . Live this place love the name. Makes me feel close to my daddy Tubby was his nickname no connection….come try it out just once you will come back

Great home cooking. Home cooked meals, homemade chicken salad, potato salad, slaw and pimento cheese, best hamburgers around, bright leaf hotdogs with homemade chili, home cut French fried potatoes. Everything I have tried has been excellent. Will go back often.

1st time there, walked in to ask a question, walked out with stewbeef/rice, green beans, and yams. It was a very good filling meal. Nice folks there also, a working man’s meal for sure. Down home cooking.
