Brilliant Pris fixe dinner and easily in my top 5 for the year! Thee are 5 courses , two of which are choices. Highlights were: steak tartar.. really unlike any tartar I’ve head before. So rich and creamy. The tea and croque Monsieur also was a huge hit. Next the bread and butter which seams ridiculous but you need to try it. The quail entree was exceptional complete with a broth that was lick the plate good. Finally the cherry dessert. SAVE ROOM FOR IT.

They have wonderful bread and very nice wine by the glass. My Italian sandwich was well stuffed, but I did not love the sauce. The sandwiches are pre-made so no substitutions. Funny story: they have a list of sandwiches and a list of breads. At most places that would mean choosing the bread for your sandwich so I asked for the Italian sandwich and a particular bread. This actually meant I received a premade sandwich and a loaf of bread. . I kept the loaf and it is delicious. I would definitely go back and try more things.

As you walk up from the north side you can see the sandwiches being made through a ground to ceiling window (wich is cool). The smell is fantastic as you enter. A very friendly/helpful staff, small menu, simple design, that yield arguably some of the best sandwiches in town (THE BEST pastrami). They came with Zapp’s voodoo chips and what I’m guessing are homemade (delicious) butter pickles. I like the name tag sticker on the wrapper on the sandwiches. There were four groups ahead of me by the time I ordered. I was only waiting for about maybe four to five minutes, if that. Was my first time and won’t be my last!

Sleeper hit on the dining scene strikes all the right notes from greeting to dishware. True French traditional cooking without any fussy fusion. Steak tartare to duck a l’orange we’re stellar. Five-course dinner started with a delicate nosh and finished with pink lady apple tart and chocolate. Interesting French and local wine list. Casual limited counter and small table seating. Reserve and prepay only.

This is a very special place. It’s a sandwich shop by the day and a French bistro at night. We went for dinner and we had a really memorable meal. It’s prix fixe degustation menu (in my opinion) worth a Michelin star. The quality of the food and creativity in the execution are really impressive. The ambiance is lovely, informal, yet warm and welcoming. A hidden gem that deserves to be discovered.

Amazing sandwiches! Worth every penny! As you walk in you can already smell the amazing aromas of freshness in here. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was bursting with flavor! I love the thick cut used and the fresh bread that is used to make it. The bread was soft and moist it kept the pastrami flavor in every bite!

$20 with tip and the ham sandwich was half an artesian baguette with a few pieces of Brie and sweet ham. There were seven sandwiches on the counter stand and I waited five minutes for someone to walk around the counter and hand me it. Absolutely insane given the price. 2 stars and not 1 because the flavors were fine. Would happily recommend three other stores in the area with better sandwiches for half the price.
