Stay FAR AWAY if you want to have a good day! This was one of The worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. I had an issue with the smoothies because they were not correct, and the owner made me feel like I was at fault and I was an idiot. I told her I would not waste my time coming back through for the correct smoothie if there was not an issue. She very rudely replied, then what are you still doing in my drive-through? Absolutely despicable experience, never giving my business to a tropical smoothie again. Stay away if you want to have a good day!

This place is a coin flip. The smoothies are solid but the food has a 50/50 chance to be ok or disappointing. The pesto Flatbreads sometimes are DOUSED in pesto making holding the flatbread gross, the wraps are either flaccid and bland or stuffed and perfect. Tonight I ordered 45 minutes ahead of time on the app and when I arrived 2 minutes before the scheduled time my food wasn’t even started on. No other customers were there and as far as I could tell no one had been there for a while. 1 employee was cleaning equipment and finishing up a smoothie for another pick up order most likely. The other was cleaning the dining room. I eventually did get my food but in the mean time 2 other customers showed up. I got my food at the exact same time as them. Nearly 10 minutes later. When someone orders food for pickup plenty of time in advance I don’t feel like their food should be getting made AFTER the appointed time for pickup. And I ESPECIALLY don’t think that food should look like mine did. I have never seen a wrap so small, flimsy and empty looking. I know what Tropical Smoothie Cafe wraps are supposed to look like, and that wasn’t it. The only reason I am not giving this place a 1 star review is because I have had some average experiences here and it would be disingenuous to go that low over 1 extremely bad wrap and pickup experience.

Absolute JOKE that they have a drive-thru but refuse to let you pick up your to-go order through the drive-thru. They literally tell you it’s “store policy” that you have to walk in and grab it even though it’s in arms reach for them to hand it to you. As a mom with a newborn baby and a toddler this is an ATROCIOUS POLICY. So if I ordered through the drive thru somehow I get treated better you’ll never get my business again.

I walked in and stood there for five minutes without being greeted. Another man walked in and was greeted right away. I am absolutely baffled that there is still racism this bold I’ll be calling back to speak to Amanda and if she doesn’t handle it right, I’ll be getting a hold of corporate. I have never seen anything like this before in my life.

I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience at this location was extremely disappointing and needs to be addressed. Upon entering, I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. No greeting, no eye contact — nothing. Feeling ignored, I decided to place my order through the app instead.

Shortly after, a young lady approached me with a noticeably bad attitude, asking, “Are you ready to order?” — as if she had already attempted to help me multiple times, which was not the case. I explained that I had ordered through the app, and instead of checking or offering help, she dismissively said, “I have to see where it was sent,” without even looking at any order system. I showed her my confirmation receipt, and suddenly my order “appeared” in her hand. Not once during the interaction did I receive an apology for the delay or confusion.

After receiving my food (without my drink), I sat down and began eating. 25 minutes later after being done with my food for over 10 min, still without my smoothie, I had to walk back up to the counter to ask about it. A gentleman with an equally poor attitude simply asked, “What you got?” No apology, no urgency — just clear indifference. I told him about my shake that had been sitting there waiting for 25 minutes, and he handed it over without a single word of apology or concern.

Overall, the food tasted the same, but the customer service was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. The staff showed a complete lack of urgency, professionalism, and basic respect for customers. Being ignored, treated rudely, and having to chase down my own order is completely unacceptable. Management needs to seriously address these service issues because good food means little when the service is this poor.

This is the most unprofessional local business I have been to in a very long time. The staffing on 12/28/25 really needs to be addressed and coached on customer service, communication and professionalism. Will not spend my money at this location any longer.

So I frequent this location a lot and I am pretty sure they’re fraudulently taking tips. I understand that this economy is rough but that is not the way to make extra money, that is stealing.

What I’ve noticed is, if you get a receipt in the drive thru your total is correct. If you choose NOT TO GET AN receipt you will notice that the total being charged to your debit card is always 2.00-5.00 more then the amount that is quoted to you and that is odd to me.

If your company has some type of valid explanation I would love to hear it. I’ve called my bank and they confirmed that the ticket was closed with the sur charged amount and suggested I press charges just to prove a point.

I’m not going through all of that for just a few bucks but the point is, do better. 2 to 5 dollars can make or break someone’s day! You’re having a hard time just like everyone else is

This morning I ordered their Avocado Grilled Cheese. I came back because they forgot the avocado. When I told an older lady with freckles this, she said she did put it on there. I opened up the sandwich for her and showed her that it in fact was not. She somehow maintained that it was. I asked if the avocado paste was supposed to be brown because nothing green was on it. She said no of course and that if she remade it that it would be the same.

She came back with the new sandwich and said “there you go -same thing.” I wasn’t going to waste my time or energy. I knew it would be a replica accident, but this time it was intentional.

I was right. Here is a picture of my sandwich. Is this what avacado is supposed to look like? Are there avocado rations? I suppose there is some avocado on the top right corner. I thanked her for the tomato paste sandwich and left. What a waste of good money!
