I was in this Galena Illinois sandwich shop near Walmart on 04/21/23. There three women (managers? Supervisors?) were VERY loudly all ganging up on a female employee in some sort of disciplinary meeting at one of the dining tables. It was already going from the time I walked in to when I left. They were talking over each other. It seemed that the issue had been that recently the employee had snapped at a coworker in front of a customer. But these ladies were ganging up on this girl in front of customers. Loudly. They were talking about therapy and medication etc. It was loud and in front of anybody trying to eat. Before I left I told them this public lambasting was super unprofessional and that there are lots of other jobs out there. The two blondish women on the right were the main ones. Did I say loudly enough times? There was nothing that others could not hear. Young employees- I’d go work somewhere else!

Fast and friendly service awaits you at this brand new location. The store is decorated with the most recent Subway livery and has a very modern open layout. I was impressed to find charging stations on the premises and keeping up with their forward setup they even have three self-order kiosks in this store. AP Score: Must visit

Super friendly staff and very quick to make Mobile Orders even when they are packed! I love stopping in before heading to work to grab a footlong and they always have fresh cookies here. 10/10 would recommend stopping here to anyone.

Customer service was extremely rude, The owner stood there listen to her employee disrespect her customers then say or do anything about it, I asked for my sandwich to be toasted I get home my sandwich is cold, they send you coupons then they change their mind about honoring their coupons and their prices I will never go there again nor my family.

Horrible service, attitude, inadequate freshness of produce, low moral, and lack of hygiene in staff and cleanliness of restaurant. And when asked for a refund; I was too upset to double check if I was refunded the correct change so when I finally came home, I counted the money to find out I was not refunded accordingly.

Terrible service. Period. At noon today I entered the drive thru, just three cars from the pick-up window. 20 min later (12:20) it was my turn to pay and recieve my order – at which point I waited nearly 10 more minutes watching the three “sandwich artists” inside fill other orders. It was only after leaning out of the car, twice, and knocking on the pick-up window was I able to get a glance from someone behind the counter and it took full-on wailing on the car horn before some cam over and gave me my three sandwiches that WERE ALREADY MADE AND WAITING FOR ME TO PAY FOR!!!? (In fairness, they comped my order to account for the spectacle I had to make just to leave their “fast” food place with the food I’d ordered 20 min prior. Thanks.)

Subway is a good choice for a quick lunch or a light dinner. Top-notch selections and they’re always fresh well-prepared and delicious. Especially liked it when they make me just a salad I pick the ingredients they chop it and add my favorite dressing.
