I come here bc I genuinely like the smoothies, and they’re close to campus, but dear god I’ve never gotten out of this drive through in under 10 minutes. They are astronomically slow. Any time there are more than 2 cars in the line, I just go somewhere else.

Nice and clean store, but employees were definitely operating on tropic time!
Placed a mobile order for a bowl order 30 mins out, but still had to wait another 10 mins upon arrival. When they brought up my order to place on the pick up shelf, I asked if that was for me and the lady said yah, and proceeded to put it there instead of handing it to me directly.

I just want to give a shout out to the tropical smoothie team from 11/26. You all were doing your best with the whole 3 people on staff. The food was delicious and you all were working your butts off. Whoever it is though that allows for staffing needs and thought 3 is a good number on a major shopping week that even kids are off of school for shame on you doing that to your staff. 3 people Thanksgiving week for to gos, drive through, and inside service! Thats wrong!

Every time I drive-through it takes an absurd amount of time to be served (and once they didn’t even process my order after taking it; they looked at me like I had egg on my face when I pulled up – didn’t get food that day). They ALWAYS forget at least one item. Don’t expect to get what you ask for, if you are served at all.

Smoothies here are always delicious! The food on the other hand is hit and miss. It truly depends on who is working. The All American Wrap is suppose to be hot and several times I’ve received it cold. Which is ridiculous considering it’s a hot breakfast wrap. Then the times it is hot they don’t put bacon in it. I cannot heat it up in my car on the way to work which makes it even more inconvenient. The staff are always friendly and service is generally efficient. Food preparation knowledge could use some work.

Something is going on with this location. I am at a Tropical Smootie at least 2 times a week at various locations as I am on the road a lot and want to have healthy options to consume.
This is the first location where I experienced the smoothie to be so far from what it’s supposed to taste like. It was watery and unflavorful. That’s the only complaint, but if your main item is smoothies, thats a big problem. Island Green Detox is my go-to.

I ordered two Acai berry blasts by phone I sent something by using my app. they were ready on time. But when I went to go pick them up, no one addressed me at all, so I just took my drinks. Both my husband and I experienced a mouthful of some sort of seeds which we are still spitting out of our mouth and trying to pick them out out of our teeth. It was watery and honestly, it felt like perhaps we got the bottom of the jar with all the seeds so we did not drink them. It was a waste of time and kind of sad because I was looking forward to it. I could also see in the parking lot where other people had tossed their smoothies onto the parking lot, which I will not do. I will take this and dump it in the sink or perhaps give it to my chickens. I have ordered this drink before many times and always thoroughly enjoyed it at other stores so somethings going on with management here or training.

The Tropical Smoothie Café has fantastic smoothies, the Café is cute and beach themed and the staff are super sweet. They have tables and chairs so you can sit and enjoy your smoothie –the drive through is busy but the inside is quiet.
All food is made to order. If you want a wrap, they make it the spot. You can swap out the turbinado sugar for Splenda, you can have any wrap made into a bowl and if you are picky about an ingredient because it is made to order, they will accommodate your request–
All of the smoothies are good, you can not go wrong — our family is working through the menu.
The app has great rewards if you download it, more discounts if you do the survey on the receipt — it makes a nice little date night for healthy food.
My absolute favorite thing about TSC is that it right next to Planet Fitness, so as a reward for working out, I can get a smoothie — so motivating!!! This is a picture of the Detox Green smoothie, I love it. I have one every morning. That’s why I’m all about the discounts listed above. Addictive!!
p.s. I see the other reviews below everyone has a complaint, I do go every morning and have not had these issues. Bad service is few and far between. When the service takes a bit they apologize, they have a sign about staffing issues and if you are in a hurry you can order on the app or if you walk in you jump the car line.
