It’s simply too good to be true. But first a word about the wonderful host: Zakiya. She’s warm, attentive, non intrusive and greener smiling. Great atmosphere, spacious, non noisy, you can chat without shouting and the food, a Caribbean Chinese fusion is so good. The options are great and the soft drinks too are wonderful. Spent a peaceful two hours gorging the food. And the final bill? Ridiculously cheap, in Toronto – this is a steal. I’m going back, so come join me.

I recently re visited this location with some friends to have their Sunday brunch buffet. I visited about a year ago and tried the pepper shrimp, doubles, salt fish and bake, curry . I’m not sure why my review isn’t posted… But it’ll leave this one.
The buffet is such a great price. On Sundays from 11am until 2 pm. I love that you get a mimosa. While each dish was great the pumpkin and the bakes were my favorites. So fluffy and flavorful.

I recently dined at Tropical Night and had a great experience! The pepper shrimp was EXCELLENT, and the rice and chicken dishes were good. We started with 3 appetizers, which were a nice touch. The patio seating was lovely, and the live DJ added to the ambiance.
The price was reasonable, especially considering the amount of food we ordered – 3 appetizers, 3 full dinners, and drinks came out to $150 including tip, split between 3 of us.
It seemed like the restaurant might be under new management, but regardless, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable. I’d recommend this Caribbean restaurant for a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Stale rice and undercooked chicken for $17 at lunch. Thanks guys, my 90 year old grandmother can do better for cheaper. Never again. Stick to being a RUM SHOP. Absolutely terrible. Don’t eat here, just consume alcohol because that’s the only thing they do well.

All you can eat Sunday brunch for $15.95 + tax! This was my first visit to Tropical Nights and my guests and I can’t wait to go back!
All the veggie dishes were delicious and packed full with flavour! The curry chicken hit the spot and oh man the portion on the fried chicken and rice were super generous!
Food was delicious, staff were super nice however be prepared for an island time experience. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re scheduled to go somewhere after. Friendly but super slow service from the kitchen.

Got chicken fried rice and chicken wings.
It was good, the wings were tasty.
I feel maybe a bit more seasoning in the wings can go a long way and the fried rice was good but lots of competition there in Toronto.
Overall good food will be back friendly staff.

Happened that I went to Scarborough on thanks giving and this place was opened. So I decided to get some food because Im single and live alone. The girl behind the counter greeted me and she was so nice, friendly, warming and welcoming. I ordered my food and 15 to 20 minutes later it’s was ready. I oube in brampton and whe I came home the food was still hot and smelled really good. I ordered the special chicken fried rice and the chilli chicken. The fried rice was good but the chilli chicken was ok. Had better. But next time im around the area would like to eat in. Because the take out potions was on the smaller side compared to other Guyanese Chinese restaurants. And I do eat take out aot. Other places the Containers are so full the lid cant close. Elastic bands have to be placed around the container. But at tropical nights, the container wasn’t even full. Just my opinion.

Their Chicken Chow Mein and Special Fried Rice is amazing, also to note the hot sauce here is a banger. Be sure to grab that for your dishes. The Pepper Shrimp has an interesting tempura style batter that’s very light and crispy.
Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. She recommended the Rum Punch and it also was a very nice cocktail.
Nice and quiet for the late afternoon time when we went. Would definitely come back again to vibe out.

Came to pick up some food my wife ordered today. I was waiting for a few minutes and the only waitress there was chatting it up with a single male and keeping him company. She was not aware I was there so I politely let her know I was there to pick up food. She was one miserable person acting all passive aggressive with me like I interrupted her. She can pick up men on her own time not on company hours… do your job.
