In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. Was asked to pull around and wait for my food to not hold up the line.. finally got my food and it was wrong, went back inside for them to “remake,” and got my food back the same if not worse. Called the store multiple times with no answer – you shouldn’t spend $10 on two burritos and them look like this. This is ridiculous

Jamar is the best Taco Bueno person ever. I was driving through MWC for work and popped by. He is so friendly and sounds great on the mike. Food was fresh and yummy. Thanks MEC, you are waaaay better than the one by my house! Will be back! 2.18.26 @ 2:16:05 pm

This is the most efficient Taco Bueno I’ve stepped into in years. I’ve been avoiding taco bueno at other locations due to the lack of good customer service.

I don’t know if the person who was running the drive through comms were having a bad day or what but she needs to check her little attitude. I try to give people grace in all situations but when it comes to my food at least give me a reason to trust you. I pulled up out of there after the 3rd little snippy response.

We went through the drive-thru and ordered. We took it back to the hospital, we didn’t get the cheesecake chimichonga and were missing a party taco.
We didn’t go back because the food was inedible. The tacos were rancid, the tortillas that the party burritos were wrapped in were as solid as a rock.
Quite frankly, they could have offered me the whole store to appease us and we would’ve refused.

Edited review! Original review was 1 star. I heard that they had new management, so I decided to give it another try. Best experience at Taco Bueno ever. Manager is awesome!! Food is best it’s ever been! Taco Bueno is my favorite fast food Mexican. So glad to raise my review on this restaurant!! I will be back!

Ordered the party pack. Was horrible. Shells were stale , rice tasted old and dry . Everything was cold the tacos were barely filled with meat /cheese , and they had no lettuce. Very confused on how they sell this and people don’t get sick . Disappointed.
