Trimbo’s was recommended to us by a new friend at Montana Tech, and damn was he right. The owner (or so I believe) took our order and brought us our food. He was exceptionally friendly and courteous, but perhaps more importantly, the pizza was among the best I’ve had…and I’ve had a lot of pizza. I have to admit that the service on the bar side suffered at times and not every variety of beer was available yet. But if you’re looking for good pie, start here. I hope they come to Missoula!

I’m very disappointed. I used to love this place. My family came to town and I thought this would be good food for everyone including my little sister, who is 7. But I was wrong. We ordered delivery, it was an hour late. Pizza was cold. (We order two pizzas and wings) They didn’t bring us the cheese pizza for my sister. Prices must have gone up because the one pizza they charged us for was $20 and was pretty much crust with sauce. Not kidding. There were a couple slices with cheese but a waste of money to say the least. I was kind of embarrassed sense I had just talked this place up to my parents and that’s what we get. The manager at least refunded us for pizza (thank you for that sir!) , the wings were alright. They were better then the crust we got. But unfortunently, I will NEVER eat here again. Which is sad to me because this place used to be one of my favorite places in town. I ended up having to get us all food from elsewhere.

I have ordered Trimbo’s pizza for 5 years and would spend hundreds of dollars a year on pizza and also gave many recommendations. Now that the new owners have taken over quality has diminished a great deal. I tried to give them time to adjust but it just got worse. I have had many send backs and complaints on food. Usually the owner would give me a refund for another pizza or menu item, but now I am being told after ordering a Bell diamond, that I was recommended to order, that I didn’t order one, and I said well none of the toppings you stated were on the pizza. The woman DEE stated that I would receive 10% off my next purchase, that is nonsense. So in the end I paid for sides that were supposed to be included with the items I ordered and also I received salsa and not red sauce. The sides tasted weird and different. I received 2 out of the 5 toppings on my pizza. I paid $30.00 plus tip for food that is unsatisfactory, upon complaint I was told 10% would be taken off my next order. I am no longer going to recommend Trimbo’s to anyone, as business owners they should take their complaints more serious and right the wrongs. You would think losing a customer that has been loyal and understanding through many mistakes would be allowed a full redo when the time suits them. If man vs. food could see Trimbo’s now. I am a single mom, I work and I am a student, for me to spend the little money I have on this pizzeria for years and to be so loyal and understanding, You would think that Trimbo’s would have treated my complaint with a more respectful response. I will never eat there at this point it’s not worth the time or money that it used to be.

Horrible! Having lived in New York, this is nothing like NY pizza. We ordered 2 large pizzas, 4 drinks, and 4 salad bars. The salad bar was a joke, the little bit of lettuce was old and brown, the fruit was rancid, the croutons were stale. Then the pizza came. 2 large pizzas should feed 2 adults and 2 7 year olds. The cheese pizza was so thin you could see through it. Barely any cheese or sauce on the thinnest crust I’ve ever seen! We were told the salads were $5 each and I asked for a refund. We were refunded $13. The manager said the salads were $4.25, which for 4 should still equal more than $13. Such a waste of time and money. Beware, always look at recent reviews!!!

Can I give ZERO stars? First off, their phone and everything was down, the restaurant was not very clean, the items ordered were substandard (like pizza without any sauce because they ran out – who does that? And very few toppings – read 2 pieces of Canadian bacon an a Hawaiian Pizza), food was cold, and it took MORE than a hour.

I used to LOVE this place. I don’t know what happened but this was a sad and sorry meal for a company Christmas Lunch. With as bad as it was, I doubt I will be back or recommend it to anyone again. Sorry!

Literally the only thing I miss about butte is this pizza place. So imagine my disappointment when I finally talk my brother and roommate to make a road trip up to butte for pizza. My roommate took his car. Plus my mom and 2 of her friends. My brother and I rode our motorcycles. 3 vehicles 6 ppl and drove all the way to butte just for trimbos pizza.

We arrive over an hour before their posted closing time and get told through the door that they closed because they were slow that night. I told the guy I looked online at his hours before making the trip and he told me “should have called first”… are you bloody kidding me!?!? So pissed off. Don’t complain that you’re slow. This is how you get slow. Amazing pizza but you lost me as a customer for life tonight.

With all the hype from man vs food I was hoping to be blown away but it was just another western attempt at good pizza that went wrong…big let down. Place needs a good cleaning too dust and dirty chairs…my wife had to be safe about where she sat. Pizza was thick and undercooked…nothing like real crispy NY. Pizza! Calzone was doughy. Sorry to say we won’t be back. Im a New England boy whose been to Naples Italy and had real pizza—Here’s the best in this order for authentic pizza in Montana: Belgrade MT. Domascos, In Bozeman, MT. Blacksmith Italian and Bridger Brewing.

Good pizza, good calzones, good beer. All around a nice place. They even have live music every once in a while. The man vs. food guy did a show here one time where he ate some absurd amount of food.

Excellent! The calzone was delicious! Decor is dated and worn, but the food makes up for it. Sells pizza by the slice but I recommend the calzone.
