Overall positive dinning experience. We had the yellowfin tuna tacos, beef tongue, grilled octopus, and grilled red snapper. The tacos and lengua were the highlights of our meal however the snapper was well over cooked. Presentation was nice however.

They forgot to bring out the salad that we ordered and still charged us on the bill as well as overcharged us on water. They were quick to correct it which we are grateful for.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The service and quality of the food was excellent.

I had the new year steak, Cesar salad and the strawberry salad. Everything was excellent.

* UPDATE: Although we had an amazing experience, multiple friends have had terrible ones. One just yesterday, 02/26, where after 2 hours dinner still hadn’t arrived. And with only a few tables occupied in the restaurant.

Quickly became our favorite. The atmosphere is relaxed yet upscale. Our favorite was the rib eye. It was cooked to perfection. The table side Caesar salad, marrow bones, and elotes rounded out a great meal.

This place was incredible. The service was 10/10 and the food, the food was immaculate. We ordered 4 drinks plus the Caesar salad, wood fire grilled jumbo prawns, black squad pasta with shrimp and a 17oz ribeye. Everything came out on time and was more than we can ask for. The price for our meal was $200USD. You can’t get this for tag price in the states with the service we got. Only negative was the mosquitos

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Is a very good place for some special occasions or just simple for a great casual night. their menu is very narrow but they do have great choices. Maybe my only comment would be on the portion size, every time I go I see smaller portion sizes so, this will be something to pay attention in the near future, same great flavor and quality of food. Tuetanos is one of my favorite appetizers.

Ended up coming here twice we enjoyed it so much! Great service, good cocktails, and the food was amazing. Their complimentary wood fired bread and olive oil was delicious! Our favorite dishes: Caesar salad, crab Montadito, bone marrow, black noodles (even better the second time because it had more sauce and they had added Parmesan cheese! Yum!)

We made a reservation online and mentioned that it was our 33rd wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were seated in an area in front of the kitchen, not in the nicer area in the back. The candle on the table was not lit until we asked. The anniversary was never mentioned. The sever spoke English and Spanish and even though one person in our party is fluent in Spanish the server still expressed no personality and did not make us feel welcome. The food was excellent and better than the way it was described on the menu. We paid the bill by credit card and during the charge we were told the tip would need to be cash. We did not have cash. We got up and left while the sever asked if we would run another transaction on the card. Never seen anything like it, especially at a high end restaurant. We headed to the Malecón and found a nice cafe bar that was very accommodating while giving us two tequilas on the house for our celebration.

Loved everything about my cocktail, appetizer, meal, and dessert. The table side Caesar is a must. Even better than the OG in Tijuana. I think they use a bit more dressing here and that makes it!! The dining area is so pretty with all the plants surrounding it and the building itself. My Mezcal cocktail was delicious. I had the whole red snapper which was stuffed with thyme sprigs. Such a tender fish with great flavor. My kid had the black noodles which were also terrific. The chocolate cake was soooooo good. I’m not even a cake fan and I would go back for that! I will definitely revisit this restaurant.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
Dining here was not just disappointing it was a total waste of time, energy, and money. It was a slow night as well, no is no reason why we could not have a great experience!

Let’s start with the service:
Our server was, quite literally, the most disconnected and emotionless person I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. There was no greeting, no check-in, no “how is everything?” Nothing. Never came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else. Not even a glance to acknowledge we existed once the food hit the table. The entire team seemed more engaged with their phones than the guests. I watched servers and runners openly scrolling and chatting in visible guest areas like it was a break room, not a restaurant. Completely unprofessional.

Now the food… where do I begin?
Everything from start to finish was lackluster, bland, and poorly executed. The dishes arrived looking like they were slapped together in a hurry, no care, no flavor, no effort. Tableside Caesar, what a joke! I’ve had better meals on the street. Drinks? Do they even clean their ice machine or wheverever they keep their ice, black specks in our drinks, plates dirty, etc!

But the final offense? The crème brûlée. Dessert is supposed to be the grand finale, the highlight, the moment of redemption, but this was the final nail in the coffin. Half the ramekin was empty. Literally. Like they just forgot to finish filling it. Are you kidding me?! I don’t know if it was laziness, arrogance, or just a complete lack of standards, but serving that was insulting.

Went here with my crew members. We each ordered something different and tried each other’s food. Every dish was EXCELLENT! Couldn’t have asked for better tasting food or service. The ambiance was also beautiful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food but better to go with a group to try a variety of dishes. Try the cocktails as well.
