Our sports bar has been a staple in the San Marcos area since 1996. Founded by a Texas State University alumni, the tavern is a bar where you can find a cold beer, daily drink specials, friendly faces, and great service 7 days a week! The bar features 23 HD TVs showing the best sports action from around the country. Stop by on the weekends and enjoy every college football and NFL game with DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket and college football TV packages. Stop by to enjoy you-call-it drink specials & Karaoke on Sundays, you-call-it drinks on Tuesdays, Pub Trivia & Karaoke on Wednesdays, or poker on Mondays! Be sure to ask about hosting your event in our 1700 square foot private event venue with 13 TVs and gaming area.

We had my daughter’s bachelorette party at Treff’s a couple of weeks ago. The staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We were there on a bar bingo night, which was so much fun.

Treff’s hosted my bachelorette party on a bingo night and let me just say, WOW!!! My husband and I absolutely loved going to Treff’s when we lived closer to them and we remembered loving bingo night, so I got all of my bridesmaids and important women in my life together for a fun night. Matthew messaged backed almost immediately and got to planning. He let people go in earlier to set up decorations, he worked out a menu with me with special drinks, and during the night he left himself available to take our order and really made sure the night was special. Both Matthew and the rest of the staff that night truly went above and beyond when it came to making sure we were safe and that the night was special. I truly mean it when I say Treff’s is the BEST bar in all of San Marcos. Everybody there is personable and truly cares about making sure everybody has a fun time.
I would attach more photos if they weren’t all taken with some type of gag gift (not sure if that breaks google reviews terms of service lol) but I will attach the menu I had ChatGPT create. The theme was tequila sunrise and Matthew worked out the menu with us and suggested good drinks to keep the orange, yellow, and pink theme. I asked him if there was any way to make the designated shot wedding cake flavored and he did not disappoint!!! It truly has become my favorite shot so it looks like I’ll have to keep going back to Treff’s for it.
PS; the food is AMAZING. It’s like the drunk McDonald’s you crave but better.

Bella has the best vibe. She is so outgoing and makes the best drinks. Ask her anything and she’s on it! Definitely one of the best bartenders at the bar. Bartenders were great!! They had a great band playing The Rustic Avenues!! Mixed crowd- pool tables – every one there was friendly- Definitely going back!! It was a fun place!!! People had fun dancing it was great!!! Gotta check it out!!!

Got really bad food poisoning from their food. Other than that, it’s a good time. Just don’t order food. Also the owner wanted to play pool instead of making my friends food. Had to wait an extra 30 minutes just for him to start making his food.
