When coming to the restaurant, there is no parking close by. The entrance at first was confusing as one door say ‘use other door’ which was painted all black with only the building number. When inside it gives a Traditional Chinese environment which was also clean. So ordered the BBQ Spare ribs and the crispy duck. The ribs were amazing a must get. As for the entree, the pricing is a turn off because you have to pay a $1 extra per ingredient for the basic ingredients (carrots, mushrooms, green bean, etc) that you can get from another establishment for a cheaper price. I would go back but for the ribs and try another.

We’ve been here for lunch twice. They food is delicious. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. Lunch prices are very reasonable and portions are large.

Apart from sticky tables and stained cups, the food wad inedible. The protein I had ordered was so old and rancid that it made me sick after the first bite. None of the ingredients were fresh i.g. imitation garlic, frozen soggy veggies, etc. My tea was made with tap water and the plain steamed rice was so salty, it was as if they’d cooked it in a brine. We didn’t bother complaining as we planned on just not coming back, but when they asked why we didn’t want a to-go box (several times) we told them it was too salty and they just shrugged it off. Nothing was comped and no apology given. The taste of that pork is still with me and I feel the bathroom calling my name.TLDR, not clean, rancid food, salt and imitation garlic are the only flavors, rude staff, and impending diarrheal doom. Don’t recommend EVER going here!

I usually like this place. It’s got ok food and the people are usually nice enough. However, this time my mother and I picked up food and I’m very disappointed. The wonton soup was awful. They did not cook it well and it tastes as if it was warmed up and not cooked properly. I did not finish it. The cabbage/vegetable in this was not cleaned. The cabbage has black specks everywhere on it. It looks old and the broth tastes old, watery, and bland.

This place continues to amaze. For over 38 years that have marginally raised their prices over that time, but haven’t lowered the quality or quantity of their food. I first visited this resturant for lunch in 1985, I ordered #2. Shredded Hot Szcheun Pork with Garlic, with a ton of pork, brown rice, big bowl of hot & sour soup for $6.95. Today I ordered #2. Shredded Hot Szcheun Pork with Garlic with a ton of pork, brown rice, big bowl of hot & sour soup for $8.80. Same size portion, same quality. This place has been feeding NASA and the contractors fir a long time. Truly a NASA Landmark on West Bay Area Blvd.

Well the service was ok. The waitress was SUPER attentive which was borderline ANNOYING!! I was the only person dining at the time but I would have liked to enjoy my meal. The spring rolls were flavorless unless you spiced them up yourself. Portion size on the fried rice was nice but I didn’t finish it all, nor did I take it home. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

As a small business owner, just wanted to make sure people understand how good this restaurant is. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. Our new go to for Chinese food.
