Beautiful gem with uncharacteristic charm. Delicious entrees and appetizers. Enjoyed the live piano jazz. No one hurried our special night. Service and staff were wonderful!

We usually order delivery which is always amazing. Tonight, we ate at the restaurant and had an amazing experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and they had a great special on a bottle of wine that was very good. We will definitely come back. Oh yeah, they had a piano player tonight that added quite a bit to the ambiance.

The flatbed uses low quality flour which is low in gluten so the crust is like a cracker, not good. The grilled squid isn’t grilled it’s broiled, and not enough so it’s rubbery. They deep fry the eggplant and chicken parmesan so the calories are super high. The salad was good as was the waiter.

Our group shared many of the traditional and unique dishes…calamari fries, Italian beef eggrolls, gnocchi, sausage and peppers, etc…..so good we couldn’t pick a favorite. Our friends from Italy thought the lemon gelato was the best they’ve had. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We’ll be back soon!

I loved this place. Delicious Italian food and a Sunday jazz band that had all of Oak Park tapping it’s feet. Great friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. This one is a keeper!

I’ve been to all of the Italian places around Oak park, and all of the restaurants have similarly priced dishes and drinks, but this is the least authentic one. The drinks aren’t made how they should be (martini’s should be stirred not shaken, unless it’s with a twist) and the sauces for the pasta seem to have too much pasta water added to them, or they are premade; regardless have a very watery flavor to them. This was a tough review because the ambiance and atmosphere was very cute and romantic, but the food and drinks did not live up to the expectations that other Italian restaurants in Oak Park set.
