The food was creative and delicious! The atmosphere was festive and clean. Prices were a little high, but it’s a mom and pop shop, so that’s to be expected thanks to inflation of groceries. We did wait for 20 minutes for drinks and for our order to be taken, but there were only two people working the tables and they were doing their best. The owner went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. We would return.

This is not a Spanish restaurant. It’s a Mexican-Italian restaurant. That said, friendly service and tasty food are to be had. Nice fireplace crates ambiance. However, the food, Ribs with Salsa Verde, was not served hot enough. Neither were the mashed potatoes. The chairs seem built for those under 5’5″ tall, pretty uncomfortable. I could overlook the chair, but food has to be served hot. Had that happened, I would have given them 5 stars. I’ll go back and try them again, since the flavors were very good. Maybe it was an aberration that the food was lukewarm. We’ll see.

I stopped here after a therapy session. I was feeling a bit low I wanted to pick myself up by trying a new spot I was seated in the patio area which overlooks the purdytown turnpike. Not much on the road but the view of the sky was beautifully graced with plauful ravens, red tail hawks and bald eagles. The patio diningroom was nice but can use some cleaning and sprucing up but it really wasn’t too much of a problem for me personally. I had an Italian cream coffee and churros. The coffee was almost as good as grandma made it, I’m very pleased with my visit I look forward to returning for maybe an actual meal. I was running low on time so I just needed something small and quick.

I second what the latest reviewer stated. Their answering machine says they were closed months of Jan and Feb I believe. But have been trying to call multiple times since to see if they’ve opened back up before taking the 20 min drive there. If you are permanently closed, please update your online information.
