Had a really bad day at work and wanted to treat myself to sake and sushi and this place was right down the road. It took a long time to ever be greeted by my waitress. She also could not recommend any drinks or rolls when I asked. It then took 20 minutes to bring out My sake… so I was just sitting there without even any water. When she finally brought it out it was the wrong one. So it was then another ten minutes just to have a bar drink. The only good thing was the hostess was very attentive and saw I had been sitting there for an extended time without any drink and came up to ask me if I had the cold or hot sake and I told her the cold please and then the drink was shorty brought out after. They did however bring the cold sake out in a jar which every sushi dine in place I’ve been to brings it out in the original container… unless it’s hot of course. The jar was just tiny and filled to the brim so it makes me think i didn’t get alll the drink I paid for.
I love salmon so I got two rolls with salmon on top. It took awhile and the presentation was nice but they just put double tuna in place of the salmon and didn’t bother to tell the waitstaff to tell their tables they were out?? I honestly would not have ordered if I knew there was no salmon. The waitress did try and fix it when I brought it to her attention but I saw her go to the cook and he just shook his head and said no.
Honestly just an extremely underwhelming experience and I wish I didn’t go. Could’ve made a much better meal at home. The parking is also atrocious. It’s just tight parallel parking on a very busy street. You’re lucky if you can get near there if even a spot at all. The service was honestly awful the food was mid and just gave chain restaurant energy that is mass produced. 100% can not recommend.

The chef Q is amazing. I used to see him at another one of their locations and was sad when he left because he made the best rolls.

I’ve been to the other location plenty of times but today was my first time at this location and Kat and Anthony were AMAZING !!!!! Not only was the food incredible but the friendliness, the pace, the artistry of the plating and the creations were amazing .. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures at one point .. The staff here is truly amazing and I will definitely be coming back very soon !!!!!

*UDATE* they issued a partial refund on 11/10/25. Not enough for me to ever want to go back. They lost a loyal customer. I’ve literally spent thousands of dollars here. No more.
I’ve been going to Trapper’s Sushi for over 10 years and have never had an issue until now. I ordered on 10/31/25 and it was the worst experience I’ve had there. The fish had a strong, bad smell and the avocados were black all the way through. It was so bad we didn’t eat it. I went in the next day and spoke with the manager and gave the uneatable sushi back. Michael (the manager) told me he would reimburse me, but I never received it. The decline in quality and customer service is extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.

This is the worst sushi experience I’ve ever had. Salmon was discolored and slimy, avocado has turned and contains large brown mush my spots, and the tempura was soft and soggy.
You’d think we waited an hour or so between delivery and eating but no, we live 5 mins away and ate within 5 mins of the food being ready. Packaging was also poor (see picture) and allowed for far too much movement. Usually sushi is delivered in specialized containers to avoid all the rolls sliding and losing consistency, but that’s not what happened here.
Even the miso soup was cold. At least our daughter enjoyed eating edamame from the shell for the first time. I tried calling but was sent directly to voicemail.

I had a great time at trappers. They have really great deals on Sunday making it super affordable for drinks and sushi off the regular menu. Skyler served us and was spectacular!!! She was extremely attentive with exceptional hospitality. Her menu knowledge made it so easy for me to decide what I wanted (even though I’m extremely indecisive) and went above and beyond to make the night memorable. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back 🙂

Trappers is hands down one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere is always fun, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food.
My absolute favorites are the CEO, the Trump, and the Mount Rainier, seriously the BEST ones on the menu! Every time I go, I have such a hard time choosing because they’re all so good. The flavors are amazing, everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they really care about quality.
The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you’re going with friends or family, it’s always a great time.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and there was a good selection of rolls to choose from.
The rolls were absolutely delicious and it was great to see them prepared right in front of us.
The kitchen staff were light-hearted and fun, which made the experience even better.
Definitely make sure to ask them about the chef’s specials — they sometimes have unique creations that aren’t listed on the menu.
Highly recommend for a fun and tasty night out!
