It was decently priced for a finer dining experience; however, it was strange to me how bread was not complimentary (was $4). Regardless the food was good: we got the truffle butter with bread ($4), the smoked salmon ravioli ($26) and the chocolate on the rocks dessert ($10). Honestly I would come back here just for the truffle butter and bread, it was very tasty.

This was my first time at Tramici, I’ve been wanting to try their food for quite a while. I have visited the Halyard Group’s other 2 restaurants in the past; Halyard’s and La Plancha. I have to say the experience at Tramici wasn’t the best. Our waiter was courteous and helpful, but the food wasn’t terrific. The pizzas are ok, on the small side, but otherwise taste fine. What was a disappointment was hearing how the staff handled the requests at a neighboring table for bread or refills of drinks. The table adjacent to mine asked for bread and they were immediately told they would be charged for it. I could tell the adults at the table were a little thrown off, but they insisted on the bread anyway. Their server returned to the table later and I believe one of the kids asked for a drink refill and the waitress immediately said she would have to charge them for it. I get this if you are eating somewhere just above fast food quality, but Tramici bills itself as a finer dining experience than that, implying that you won’t have to constantly agree to additional charges for every little thing a customer asks for. It made the experience feel like standing in the line at Chipotle and asking for extra guac. I could tell the parents at that table were not thrilled with the constant upcharge reminders. It cheapens the feel of the Tramici experience, just fyi.

4.5 out of 5 (sorry Google only does whole numbers)!!! We ate at Tramici for our 15th wedding Anniversary. We made reservations a couple days ahead and highly suggest during the busy season. The food was amazing! I had the Chicken Marsala and my wife had the Chicken Piccata. No complaints from me however my wife said there was too many artichokes in hers but was able to pick around them. Their menu selection was small. Our server was very slow and we had to ask for things such as refills several times. For a higher end restaurant on the island, we expected better service. I’ll blame the lack of labor force right now. We will be coming back to try more of the menu!

Everyone knows I’m a foodie. Tramici is completely off the charts. Fortunately/unfortunately I eat in Restaurants 90% of my life and I just got back from Belgium, but this is good as ANYTHING I had in Europe. Bravo. My server Dayanera (What a beautiful name) was beyond extraordinary. Both the food and her positive attitude and knowledge of the menu are worth going back. I will add that I like being in the TOP 10% of Google Restaurant reviewers.

We were not disappointed. We each had a salad and split a pizza. The wedge salad was very good. The other salad was a nightly ape dial with a balsamic vinegarette and it was perfectly dressed. This pizza was also very flavorful. Lastly the service was fantastic. Cindy took very good care off us.

I have never negatively reviewed any place of business but we were quite astounded with our experience. I will start by saying we were seated early for our reservation. It was not especially busy at the time. We ordered mussels, calamari, and ciabatta with truffle butter to start. All was brought out very quickly. Bread was good and truffle butter was very mild but inexpensive so sufficient. Mussels were a little off but not terrible and the broth was decent. Calamari was fair. For dinner we ordered the frutti di mare and tuscan pizza. We asked our server, who was very nice, about the frutti di mare before ordering as we were looking for a heavier tomato base vs cream and she stated it was not very creamy so we proceeded with our order and requested it spicy. Dinners were brought out before our appetizers were finished but we were almost done so we took what was left so we could make room on the table. The frutti di mare tasted like nothing but cream. Almost no flavor at all. It was even slightly sweet. I ate 2 mussels, one of which I’m pretty certain was bad and one shrimp out of it as well as 2 or 3 bites of pasta and my mom just picked some of the seafood out of hers. The pizza looked like it was off of a children’s menu and was undercooked. Only one and a half slices were eaten because it had no flavor at all. Our server asked if we filled up already when we all just kind of stopped eating and we told her we weren’t fans on anything and that it was all pretty flavorless. She brought the manager over because she saw that our plates were still full. The manager basically asked how it was, we answered and she asked if we wanted dessert which we declined. She apologized and moved on and as she was speaking our server took the food away without asking. We were not expecting any discount or anything, but the fact that we paid in full for food that was taken from us and didn’t get eaten at all was very unusual and off-putting. We paid nearly 150 dollars for dinners we hardly touched. Disappointing.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Every time I visit the island, I make it a point to eat here. This time I had the stuffed mushrooms app and the braised beef shortribs ravioli. Sooo delicious! All their food is wonderful, great atmosphere and good service.
