I LOVE a good diner. Don’t get me wrong, bougie bruncheries have their place, but this classic gem of a diner makes you feel at home and serves up food and service for the soul.
I’m a breakfast man. I loved the Hollandaise; more on the savory lemon gravy side of things, but not too heavy in the lemon. SUPER tasty. Ask for the Chipotle Hollandaise if you want a little extra zing. I did. I put it on an egg casserole which tasted great with eggs over easy.
Make sure to get the pancakes on the side. You can eat them with regular table syrup, but for a small up-charge, you can get 100% maple.
I befriended Chay, my server, as well as Christina the owner. We had LOVELY conversation, and I even got to sample a very tasty cream of mushroom soup and a lovely creamy salsa verde.
The space is very family friendly. I can’t wait to bring my kiddos in and enjoy another excellent meal.

This has to be the smallest omelette ive ever ordered, for $16+… Will not return. And just found some cardboard in it which is always fun.

I come here for breakfast occasionally and it is one of the best restaurants around. The food is fantastic every time (I order pancakes), but that is not even the best part. From the time you walk in, everyone is so friendly. You feel like you just walked into an old school diner back in the day when everyone knew everyone. The service and atmosphere was elite and I will definitely be going back with my family.

My hunny & I came here for the first time a few weeks back & upon walking in you get that cozy comfy feeling. It has that old school diner kind of look/feel. We came early on a Saturday morning so we didn’t have a wait time. I got a Belgian waffle with eggs & bacon along with a smoothie, my hunny got a skillet. I really really wanted to be impressed by the food but it was a let down. The smoothie had more of a milkshake consistency & it tasted like milk was in it. My waffle tasted pretty bland :/ & my hunny wasn’t impressed with his skillet. It was worth a try.

Great service, friendly staff. The margarita was on the softer side, and they offer other alcoholic drinks. All else food wise was delicious. Parking available in rear.

Wonderful spot. Really great service and the staff was very friendly. I thought it would be more busy, but the rainy weather probably kept some people away.
I ordered the eggs Florentine and loved it. Wait time was minimal, my coffee and water was always full, and the food was delicious.
This place definitely has a “home town” atmosphere, and was very welcoming.

Cute and cozy-feel restaurant with friendly service and some of the best Gyros and Tzatziki Sauce I have had in Illinois, outside of Chicago/Cook County. Didn’t have brunch until later in the day so stopped by an hour before close as it was nearby. Definitely a good spot if there are regulars and good rapport with the staff. I had the Towner Square Omelette which had their Gyros, Onions, Tomatoes, side of Tzatziki Sauce, with your choice of Toast or Pancakes, Fruit. Also had a Bloody Mary, and a waitress-choice Irish Coffee. The family-oriented crew as well as the homey-interior, makes you feel right at home. Wouldn’t mind stopping in again if in the area.

What can I say I ordered a broccoli & cheddar omelette and it was cold from the 1st bite. The broccoli was barely cooked, it was bland blah blah boring, the hash browns were cold and dry. This was my second time there, I don’t think it’s all the rave like all these 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews are but maybe they have lower expectations then I do but when you pay $32.. for breakfast for 2 you’d expect better quality. Sorry but I’m not the type to be sending it back, it is what it is and I’ll most likely think twice before giving it another try. I debated on 2 or 3 stars but had to stick with 2 stars because it was disappointing enough not to bother finishing the meal. Just being honest.

Love this type of restaurant. Family-run and the dishes are made with love. Sat at the counter for lunch. Tuna melt prepared perfectly, seeded rye bread grilled on a flat top, crispy texture and the right amount of tuna and cheese. Fries had a nice coating and had a good crunch to them.
Also tried the sunny side burger which has a sunny side egg on top. I asked for well done and that’s how I got it! It was big – so took the other half to go.
Had to also try a milkshake. Was delicious.
