The food was great and the prices are fair. Nice little cafe. But there was only one older waitress and she couldn’t keep up. It appeared that there were 3 people that were “working” in the kitchen that apparently could not be bothered to help the customers. The customers were fetching their own coffee and clearing there own tables.

Not impressed at all. Just moved up here and looking for a good breakfast. I was told that they were training new kitchen help, but the owners were there. I don’t want to wait for a hour for some eggs. And prices are higher than what I expected

Wonderful little small town cafe. Nothing fancy – decent breakfast eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns. Coffee .10 and there is comfortable banter between patrons and staff. Support small business, step back in time and enjoy a meal here.

Tower Cafe is a diner done well. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the hashbrowns were crispy, and the service was excellent. Definitely worth the stop if you’re driving between Virginia and Ely.

My pancakes had the tast of onion .There was only one older lady waiting on people and the local customers were getting us our coffee refills. No tip given.Would suggest driving further to Ely.
