Totopo is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Pittsburgh.
We ordered guacamole, nachos, fish tacos, and shrimp tacos. All of them were absolutely top notch. The naked burrito was just okay, but everything else made up for it. I also tried the spicy pineapple cocktail, and it was hands down the best drink of the night. To finish, we shared the tres leches cake, which was perfectly moist and delicious.
Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re craving flavorful Mexican food and a fun atmosphere in Pittsburgh!

Wonderful food and atmosphere. We arrived with no reservation on a busy Sunday evening (huge tournament in town with hundreds of teams), and I’m shocked they were able to fit us in. The manager (or perhaps owner) was very accommodating and always looking out for our table even when they were busy. Food was awesome. Wife said the skinny tacos (not my thing) were the bomb. I ordered the carnitas grilled burrito and it was very flavorful. When in town, will absolutely come back. Kids loved it as well. Thanks again to the staff!

This was such an amazing experience. My husband is Mexican and said this was the best Mexican food he had had in a long time. From the service to the food to the atmosphere everything was just perfect!! The fried ice cream was too dire for! Definitely get the guacamole made right at your table. You won’t be sorry!

Always delicious! Some of my faves are the tacquitos, taco salad, choripollo asado and fish tacos. Don’t miss the hot salsa. Addictive! Bring back the Mar y Tiera.

Absolutely Awesome!! Service was great and the food…..let’s just say I will be back on a regular basis!! We had spicy pineapple, frozen peach and blood orange Margaritas plus a sampler. Fish tacos were to die for same for the Barria tacos. Definitely a place to try.

I called for a reservation multiple times with no luck for my daughters 8 birthday dinner. This is her favorite restaurant, partly just for the fiesta rice, but also the quesadillas! I finally got through to someone, and I was told I can’t make one for a party less than 7. The manager came on the line, and not only accommodated us, a party of six, but also came to sing at the table, for my daughter! He introduced himself and wanted to make sure everything was great! We felt like family! It really is such an awesome restaurant, and I cannot recommend this establishment enough! Also, the enchiladas Verde should not be snoozed on!
