We were seated in a back room space that, frankly could use a little more effort/decor to make it more welcoming,…but…our server, Tammy, was exceptionally cordial and worked diligently through the evening taking drink & food orders and accommodating our needs. Other staff stepped in on occasion to assist as needed with food or drink service.
The spinach dip appetizer was a hit with everyone…we ordered 4! Bummed that I didn’t think to grab a pic of them! Meals varied between sandwiches, to burgers, to steaks…and everyone (as far as I know) left satisfied and full.
While B&F is a sports bar, I think the smaller front space could be rejigged as a bit more upscale (the quality of food and service merits it) leaving the larger middle as sports bar haven.
My wife and I returned to Brick and Forge on a Friday for a late lunch and had another great experience..
The Taproom Ritas were as decadent as we remembered and are likely the largest portioned margaritas we’ve ever had for the price!!
We sampled the pepperoni rolls shareable between us and another family member and those were, in a word, decadent.. They were incredibly savory and the accompanying marinara was quite flavorful.. These are a must have!!
For our mains we tried the chicken quesadillas and the chicken fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and fried okra.. My commentary here is going to be focused on the CFC..
*Warning* Bring a hearty appetite or plan to share this dish.. The portion size is huge!! Unlike chicken fried goodies at other establishments this CFC was served thick, juicy, and was fresh from the fryer.. I had to let it cool a bit before I was able to partake.. It was flavorful and well worth the very reasonable menu price..
The loaded mashed potatoes were quite good and the lightly breaded fried okra was served hot and fresh, as well.. This second visit to Brick and Forge was a resounding success!!

My wife and I made an overnight stop in Conway on a Thursday night, and after several previous visits to Conway, we finally landed in the Brick and Forge Taproom for dinner..
If I’m being honest, we’re kind of mad that we hadn’t dined here before..
We started with a pair of their top shelf margaritas, substituting the recipe tequila with 1800 Reposado.. We were delightfully surprised when our drinks were presented in sealed carafes and accompanying salted drinkware..
We shared the mozzarella sticks and traditional wing appetitizers, then finished things off with their individual-size Double Trouble specialty pizza..
The mozzarella sticks arrived at the table hot and accompanied with a marinara sauce featuring small bits of whole tomatoes throughout.. While these aren’t the most impressive fried cheese appetizer we’ve ever had, they held their own and were quite flavorful..
We followed the cheese with the wings.. I selected the hot honey sauce and couldn’t have been more delighted.. The wings were amply sized, and the hot honey sauce had a nice taste and a latent kick.. My wife typically doesn’t do wings, but after she tried one and then another, she declared these were the best wings she’s ever had.. These were among the best quality wings I’ve enjoyed, too..
Lastly, the Double Trouble arrived on the scene as advertised.. Copious amounts of pepperoni, shredded cheeses, and a marinara sauce kicked up a notch with the addition of their buffalo wing sauce..
This pizza was decadent.. It’s easily one of the best-tasting, non-traditional pizzas I’ve enjoyed anywhere.. The Buffalo-infused sauce was an immediate hit for both of us!!
Our server, Will, was thoroughly attentive over the entire course of our visit, and one of their managers, Josh, stopped by to check in on us a couple of times.. The service was fantastic..
Brick and Forge has a nice vibe, a full bar, and plenty of big screens for sports watching, too.. Their military discount is a nice touch, as well.. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in town!!
