Tortilleria Mi Tierra was incredibly accommodating to me and my brother’s families—11 people in total. The ladies working there were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent across the board, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re passing through Hearne and want a great meal.

Food flavor was okay but very greasy. Girl that was making the gordita look like she was confused. Cashier made us wait to pay for our food and almost charged the customer behind for our food. They charge for the sour cream and cheese. 0.75 for each one. 20 bucks for 2 gorditas that aren’t that great and half filled.

I walked in and there was one customer being helped, I stayed for 5-10 minutes and no one acknowledged me nor helped me and there were plenty employees going in and out the kitchen door. I ended up just walking out and spending money else where. This is the first time I’ve ever been treated like this here.

My husband and I eat here often. However, we are always charged differently for our tacos (yes we know there are extras but get just meat. No cheese or additional add one) or items. 5/24 I was charged $10 for the hominy in red juice (the pozole without the meat). You got to be kidding, that can’t be the price for that? …last time is was 5.99. Had to pay the $10 because I wasn’t going to let me daughter go without her lunch. Never again!

My brother and I saw a. Inch of cars parked out front. We stopped for lunch. We’ve been back several times. Food is fantastic and the servings are plentiful. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Highly recommend this place. Hopefully Hearne will continue to grow again and provide several more attractions.
